Perfect for fried eggs!
This is the best spatula I have found for fried eggs. Because it’s so thin it slips under the egg easily and makes flipping them a breeze. Our first one held up for over 10 years and we loved it so much we bought a new one. Sometimes egg gets stuck in the holes but it washes out easily. The handle is a little awkward with the egg on it, but the egg broke off of our first one and then it was even easier to use.

Good Flipper
Almost every morning, cook a one egg omelette. First - fry some onions, bacon pieces (buy a pound, cook it, break it up, store it in a plastic baggy), sometimes green peppers, sometimes mushrooms. Beat the egg....add a little milk....beat some more....poor mix carefully over the fried stuff to get an even thickness layer....when the egg layer gets a little firm, I insert the flipper under the egg, tilt/rotate the pan, and let the uncooked egg mix spill on to the bottom. After the egg mix firms up....carefully insert the flipper underneath....the flipper is a little flimsy and perhaps slightly undersized...lift the pan and give a little wrist action to give the firm egg mix a little momentum, and flip using the flipper. Sprinkle some cheese over the egg mix and fold the egg mix in half using the flipper. Flip the folded egg mix again with the flipper....after waiting for cheese to melt...but don't want the omelette over cooked. Slide omelette on to plate. Clean the frying pan and the flipper. Food tends to stick to the flipper....but comes off with a little hand scrubbing per the product directions. Eat the egg, while usually reading the bible, usually with a little yogurt, sometimes a banana or a single slice of toast with strawberry jelly. What else is there to say? Its a good $5 flipper. Probably buy one once a year because the flipper seems a little beat up after a month of use.

Adorable
Super cute but personally a little too flimsy for flipping my fried eggs.

I Don't Get the Love For This Thing.
I purchased this based on a whim and overwhelmingly positive reviews. I'm not a grouchy person...I hate writing grouchy reviews...but I really don't get the love for it.Pros:- I'm not sure. The tip of the spatula is thin, so I guess that makes it easy to get under eggs?- My daughter loves using it in her play kitchen, which is where it has found a permanant home.- It's only $5, so it's not an outrageously priced play kitchen spatula for the kiddos.Cons:- It's tiny, and the handle is laughably short. It requires that you hold the egg part of the handle with your fingers, leaving no support in your palm.- Egg protein sticks to the nylon surface. This makes for a clumsy flip and broken yolks. It also makes it hard to divide eggs while cooking.- Did I mention that it's tiny? So tiny that you can barely get the tip of the spatula all the way under the yolk. This leads to more yolk breakage. The bend in the spatula leads me to believe that they want you to flip the egg away from you in an awkward motion. Ergonomically, it's more natural to slide a spatula all the way under an egg and flip sideways. You can't really do that with this spatula.- It's much odder looking in person. The small size and the handle/egg thing are more laughable than cute. I read a review stating that the person loves to display it on their wall. To each his/her own, I guess. My 2 year old definitley likes it, so who am I to judge?- It's small. I know...again! It's so small that we can't store it in our countertop utensil bin. It falls to the bottom and becomes barely visible.Just buy a nice nonstick silicone spatula/turner with a proper handle instead. It will do many things well, instead of one thing poorly.Gonna go back to my life now and stop putting so much time and energy into reviewing egg spatulas on a website.

So good I bought another after 10 years of using it
About 10 years ago I bought this whimsical spatula at a hardware store because it was so cute. In the past decade I have used it daily for eggs only and I love it because it's just delicate and small enough to lightly scramble or flip a fried egg. It's made just for eggs. Bigger spatulas are overkill. The Li'l Joie is indeed a joy! So I was delighted to see they are still available because mine was getting so old and worn-out and finally split a little from daily use, but it did last a pretty long time! I'm happy to spend the $7 for another decade of service from the Mini Joie. I recommend using those purple Scotch Brite Scrubbers to clean it because of their "even eggs and cheese won't stick" claim (it's true!). This spatula is perfect for the egg enthusiast as it made flipping and scrambling my breakfast eggs a... l'il joy!

Small
Very small, but effective.

Great LITTLE Spatula for Flipping Eggs!
To start, this little spatula is just that...little. It's a lot smaller than I expected it to be. That said, it's an awesome little spatula that works great for what is was designed for and that's flipping eggs! We love having eggs for breakfast on the weekends and especially enjoy fried eggs cooked on a griddle. The front portion of this little spatula is tapered to a very thin width which allows you to get under the egg easily and without breaking the yolks. Because of it's small size, it's easy to use and easy to store. Cleans off easily as well. If you're interested in this spatula but have reservations about ordering, I'd say you've nothing to worry about - it does a great job and I would recommend it.

Terrible quality
Terrible. We had bought one a decade or so ago and it lasted so long. Within a week this time the product got warped. Terrible quality

Me encanta!
Me encantan, la uso desde hace años y se me rompió ya de tanto uso uso y la volví a comprar. No araña las sartenes y es moldeable.

Favourite little spatula!
Exactly what I ordered! I've had one of these for years and it was time to replace it. Small and thin!

Perfect for the Joie one-egg frying pan
I bought this having bought the single-egg pan (which produces perfect shaped and cooked eggs every single time). However it became clear normal sized fish slice / spatulas were totally useless to get under the egg as you couldn't get the angle due to the size of the pan. This one easily gets under the egg. The end is very thin and curved so it could be used one way to lift the egg away from the pan and other way to turn and eject. I can see why some reviews confused the purpose of this spatula as in a normal pan with a spread yolk it just would not work as the egg be far too big to fit on this small spatula. So buy the pan as well!
