Nothing Better!!
The gelcoat on my boat was in terrible shape. I contacted a "professional" boat detailer and had him go take a look at the boat and asked for a quote on getting it back in shape. He told me that he would have to wet sand the gelcoat because it was in such bad shape. I was looking at thousands to have this done. I took my Makita buffer and ONE can of this stuff and spent about half a day buffing the boat. Once I started I couldn't stop. I saw the oxidation disappear with the first application and when I was done the boat absolutley gleamed! The dulll blue that was there was transformed into the original dark navy blue that had such a deep shine that even the dockmaster came over too ask me what I was using. He said he had seen other peoiple spend days and not get such a finish. He was so impressed that he asked me what I was using! It also worked like a miracle on my bimini top supports. I can't say enough good things about this product. It really is a miracle product! I'll attach pics later, you won't believe the difference. I'm not easily impressed with a product but trust me, this WORKS! Period! Oh yeh, I had some left over after buffing a 27 foot boat. Great buy!

My husband swears by this product and has gotten all of his friends to use it as well
I ordered this for my husband and he says that it's one of the best products he's ever used. He has convinced all of our marina friends to use it on their boats and they love it as well. It reconditions and is one step, it takes away one step of reconditioning. Great product

Important, PLEASE READ!!
Absolutely amazing product, but you must follow directions for use. The compound is "Amateur Proof" but not "Idiot Proof". To explain what I mean, it is very hard to make rookie mistakes like burning through the finish or leaving swirl marks even using a standard rotory buffer. The compound "Breaks Down" while using it to a finer and finer polish. If you apply to much pressure on the buffer, or use to high of a speed, the compound breaks down to a very fine grit very quickly. On this same note, I see other comments that it doesn't work well on extremely oxidized finishes, or it's not intended for this purpose. That is simply not true, it works very well on even the most stubborn stains and/or oxidation. The key is how you use it. You must use a variable speed buffer, and turn the speed down all the way on your initial application. By using a low speed, the compound doesn't break down as quickly and this in turn allows the compound to remain at it's "Full Strength" for a longer period. Slow speed and no pressure on the buffer, just let the compound do the work. After you've gone over the surface on low speed, no pressure and moving slow, THEN put your buffer on high speed and polish it out. It may take a second or third application using the same proceedure, but only on extremely weathered finishes. I am very pleased with not only the results, but also not having to have several different compounds on hand to complete a job. This stuff is GREAT! Oh, use a strong soap like Dawn to hand wash your fleece buffer pad in warm water when you are done, and allow it to air dry.

Polished up my BOAT HULL
Cleaned up my BOAT HULL and removed the oxidation. My BOAT HULL has never shined and sparked like this. I am so proud of my BOAT HULL now. It takes lots of elbow grease and sweat to shine up a BOAT HULL using this but you will be very pleased. … not the other thing that sounds like BOAT HULL

Shurhold compounding paste.
Shurhold compound worked as advertised removing stains from my boat hull. Only negative was the container. It is difficult to get out of jar with a pad. A “squirt bottle” would be easier like other compounding material.

Use on fiberglass.
Very good product. I use on my fiberglass boat to polish and remove oxidation. Does good job of removing oxidation and polishing both the fiberglass and chrome. Use a good wax after to help keep oxidation from returning. Oxidation will return as it is in sunlight but a good wax helps to slow up the process.

Putting the blue back in the boat
Restoring a faded boat. This and an orbital buffet seem to be doing the trick

Brilliant shine
This stuff works a treat on vehicles/ vessels which have a film. It removes the film and polished up all into one.
