Really good USB C cable and feels much better made than some cheaper cables I have used. The 1m length is ideal for everyday use giving enough room without leaving a lot of excess cable around.Data transfer is quick and reliable and it is also useful for charging devices. The connections fit securely and do not feel loose when plugged in.I like the overall build quality as the cable feels strong and durable, while still being flexible enough to use easily. The connectors also feel sturdy and well finished.Overall, I am very happy with this cable. It is a simple but useful accessory that works well for both charging and transferring files and I would happily buy another one.

This 2-metre, braided USB-A to USB-C cable is no exception and is built to the high standard I've come to expect from them. The plugs are attractively branded with a grey aluminium, well-finished exterior, and the plug connection surfaces are electrolytically flash-plated with 24K gold—a highly cost-effective manufacturing process that delivers premium reliability at an affordable price.CABLE TERMINATORSThe cable terminations are male USB-A and male USB-C, each with adequate cable strain relief. The US187 features a short, molded PVC strain relief boot. While it provides baseline protection for casual desktop use, the collar is relatively short and stiff, with a sharp, abrupt transition from the hard plastic housing to the main wire. Higher-end, heavy-duty cables utilize a longer, slotted/tapered flex sleeve that allows the boot to curve gradually with the wire, spreading mechanical force over a wide arc rather than bending sharply at a single seam. The strain relief here is adequate, but it could be better.CABLE MATERIALS & EVERYDAY USEThe cable itself is constructed in a smooth, fine, black nylon braiding that offers just the right proportions of mechanical strength and bendable, routable flexibility. It’s a lovely material in the hand and provides a high degree of scuff resistance, though it is worth noting that it is prone to snagging on ‘Velcro’ hook-type materials.THE QUESTION OF SPEEDThis type of cable (USB-A to USB-C) is most commonly used for charging from legacy devices, so data transfer speeds often go unmentioned. Most cheaper 2-metre cables you find will only provide slow USB 2.0 data transfer, but this one is wired for fast data.The description states 5Gbps (certified to the USB 3.2 Gen 1 standard). However, my real-world tests show it punches well above its weight. To test this, I hooked up an external UGREEN USB4 NVMe SSD Enclosure to a 10Gbps USB-A port on my PC. "USB Device Tree Viewer" confirmed that the external drive successfully negotiated a "3.2 Gen 2 (10 Gbit/s)" connection with a "Port maximum Speed : SuperSpeedPlus 10 GBit/s". Across this 2-metre cable, I consistently saw average transfer speeds of ~7.2Gbps, with peaks of ~8Gbps.Why the discrepancy? Under official USB-IF standards, passive copper cables longer than 1 metre experience high-frequency signal degradation, so they cannot be certified for 10Gbps. Once a passive cable is over 1 metre, it must be labeled as a 5Gbps cable to comply with regulations. However, UGREEN’s use of thicker-than-spec tinned pure copper and multi-layer triple shielding allows the physical wire in this cable to push data at much faster rates than its official certification implies. There is nothing “budget” about this cable.CONCLUSIONOverall, this cable is a pleasure to use on an everyday basis, and being so supremely flexible, makes it a great choice for fitting and routing through a home or small office data project. It offers premium quality for a very reasonable price, and compared to other cables, ther are few that are as well-designed and pleasant to use as this braided offering from UGREEN.

This cable is great, it has a really decent length to it and its very fast at transferring data and charging. This is a heavy duty cable, so it's not flexible as such, but it can be coiled up quite easily. When looking at similar cables of the same price bracket, this one is by far the best one out there... in my opinion. I was more than happy with the price I paid for it.

Does the job - had a 4K webcam that I had hooked up to my laptop with a USB 2.0 cable, didn't realise it wasn't working at 4K resolution until I checked the settings for it. This has fixed that immediately for me.As USB cables go - it definitely feels good quality. The cable is thick, braided - maybe a little stiff so I'd be worried about it when I try and store it away. Gold plated connectors give it a nice premium touch, as well as the casing for the connectors feeling metallic (but pretty sure they are plastic).For the price - ~£5 for 1 metre including next day delivery (Prime) it's well worth it. Also - it seems hard to get these USB A to C cables that are also 3.0 / support 5Gbps from usual brick and mortar stores like Argos or Currys. I expect if they did stock them, it'll also cost £10 or likely more given it's high speed.

Works but I am experiencing white noise on one of my connected 32" monitors. My mates in China/Us say it's down to a poorly shielded cable.

Sowohl das schnelle Laden (QC 3.0) als auch die Datenübertragung funktionieren tadellos. Für den Preis eine klare Kaufempfehlung!

Ottimo prodotto, lo uso sempre in macchina sulla mia 500L e non mi ha mai causato problemi. Ovviamente si può utilizzare anche attaccato al PC e al caricatore

Cable USB C impeccable.Je m'attendais encore a un cable qui soit usb c bidon, mais celui ci est conforme à la description, il tient ses promesses sur vitesse / transfert.Au départ ce fut pout une voiture qui voulait un cable avec le smartphone pour android auto, Nikel, super connection .Je l utilise aussi pour charge de mon gsm à la maison, il est plus stable et rapide que ceux des fabricants et pour info solide, j'ai un Samsung S25.Je recommande fortement, de plus la marque Ugreen est actuellement la plus sérieuse et innovante
