A perfect-cheap upgrade to my pc setup. I have the Fosi Audio DAC-Q4 paired with the some EDIFIER bookshelf speaks and I wanted a better insulted cable b/c I was having some "hissing" from the speakers. Instant improvement in listening comfort/quality! 10/10 would recommend!

I've purchased Monoprice before and have always been very pleased. They make a great product. I purchased these for a short, high quality run. The cables are remarkably heavy and thicker than you'd expect due to the excellent insulation. They're very flexible, but feel like I can use it as a dog leash. That's not meant to be bad, I'm just impressed! The sound quality is terrific with no hum or extraneous sounds. One thing that a few other reviewers remarked on is that the connections are remarkably tight. That's generally a good thing but they are R E A L L Y T I G H T. They surely won't come off on their own, and it's even difficult to pull them off with your fingers. As long as you are not frequently swapping cables they are fine...just something to note. I'm overall very pleased and impressed with the quality!

I have an extremely modular Hi-Fi setup that includes numerous interconnects adjoining various pieces of gear, so the quality of the cables I use is very important. In the past I've cheaped-out with cables that worked fine for their prices but were far from what I would consider "audiophile grade". The Monoprice cables actually offer the best of both worlds: exceptional audio-quality at a remarkably low price. These cables punch FAR above their price range by offering the absolute cleanest noise floor I've ever heard with my audio gear. They absolutely eradicated the low-level hum coming from my Klipsch subwoofer after I swapped out the old cables connecting my SUT and phono stage. Now I can adjust the input impedance of my SUT to whatever level I want without hearing a trace of hum, and it's even improved the (already very low) noise floor of my loudspeakers. Are there options that give you even better results? Probably. But you'd likely be spending at least ten times more for the privilege, and that delta in price just isn't worth it to me. The only drawback I can really identify for these cables is their lack of flexibility. As others have noted they are extremely stiff, which makes connecting devices in very close proximity somewhat cumbersome. They definitely function better when you have a little more space to work with in your setup. That being said, I'm not so bothered by it since the thickness likely contributes to the excellent shielding and (consequently) the exceptionally-low noise floor. Overall, I think these are some of the best "bang-for-your-buck" RCA cables on the market and I recommend them wholeheartedly.

Seem to be good quality. A bit stiff. Connector are solid and fit snuggly. Perfect length for compost interconnects and eliminate all the extra cable chaos.

I purchased these cables to replace the thin stock RCA cables that came with my DAC, which I use to play audio from my computer via Toslink. The original cables were prone to interference, causing random humming and static that could only be cleared up by adjusting the position of the DAC or cables. The Monoprice cables solved those issues perfectly. The thicker shielding greatly reduced interference, and the audio quality now comes through crystal clear without any static. However, the thicker cables can be a bit cumbersome to manage. They tend to pull or tug on whatever they’re connected to, making cable management trickier. Additionally, in my case, the white cable doesn’t stay snug all the way into the DAC unit on my setup. If I'm not careful, it can come loose if forcibly bumped or moved too abruptly. But aside from that minor nitpick of thick cables, I’ve had no other issues. Overall, these cables have significantly improved the sound quality and reduced/eliminated interference.

Five Stars - Unbeatable Value for Great Performance! I recently purchased a Monoprice RCA cable for connecting my DSP to my amplifiers and I am absolutely blown away by the quality you get for such an incredibly low price. Seriously, I was expecting something flimsy, but these cables are surprisingly well-built. The connectors feel solid and fit snugly, ensuring a secure connection. More importantly the price nd quality is fantastic! I haven't noticed any degradation in the audio signal, no added hum or static – just clean, clear sound. If you need a reliable RCA cable without breaking the bank, look no further than Monoprice. These cables prove that you don't have to spend a fortune to get great performance. I'll definitely be buying more Monoprice cables in the future for my other audio/video needs. Highly recommended!

But it's an actual coax, with low capacitance of about 60pF/m (my meter is not accurate enough to tell exactly) and thick shielding. So it would probably even be a pretty good phono cable. It doesn't pick up any noise capacitively, even with high input impedance of 100kΩ that my stereo happens to have, and thus it tended to pick up mains hum when the source was turned off on other cables. But again, this is a very thick and stiff cable. Still it is a far better option for devices that get moved around (like a headphone amp) or sit close to the wall and have the cable doing a sharp turn than the Monoprice triple RCA video cable. It is literally the same cable, but without video and with much better plugs (that other reviewers say may be too thick for some gear, but luckily not for any of mine).

Ordered these in two lengths, one for a pair of powered speakers and the other for connection between my receiver and $700 Rotel CD player. In BOTH cases, some ends would either be way too tight to even go on (felt like I pushed in the connector on my CD player, Monoprice would be in serious trouble if this happened) or some ends would be so loose they just come right off.. pull the left channel one and the right ones slides right off with it. Try to either squeeze or pry them open or closed to the right amount and the prongs become scratched and you feel really ripped off. If that's what you're looking for, enjoy these cheap, worthless cables. Both are being returned.

Really high quality RCA cable and just the perfect length between components. The connections to the input and output is very firm and tight. Also the thickness of the cable is ideal since it doesn’t just hang down like a regular thinner RCA cable would, making the cable management easier.
