Have only used it one and it did the job like a yeoman.

Can’t beat the price for these HSS NPT taps. They work better than the carbon steel bits ensuring long life.

I ended up not needing to use this tap, but wanted to comment on the good quality of it. Another arrow in the quiver.

Tap seems good enough to chase threads, or cut new threads in soft metals.

I only needed the tap for one project. For home use it should last for ever. But I am old

Great tap, good quality and price. The shank diameter is larger than listed however.

While going slow and using die oil, I successfully use the first of the two taps to tap 1/4" deep threads into steel. I think use of a countersink helped me start the tap.
