Software not responding/ opening. Download software before purchasing!
I had trouble with the software download but Dymo Support were very quick with their reply and helped me solve the issue.

Useless
Don't waste your time. I use ParcelForce to send items, they have an option to print 4x6 shipping labels which is exactly what the 5XL should do. I've tried various things, including running over the network and plugged in direct. I've printed directly from the couriers website, and saved as PDF to print from that software. Twice I've managed to get to labels printing in tiny font which is no use to anyone, every other time I get an error. It really shouldn't be this hard to print a label. Do better Dymo!

Easy to set up and use.
Not compatible with windows 7 so as I brought for work had to upgrade earlier than expected. Now on windows 10 printer is great using to print shipping labels with ease.

Rubbish Don't Bother
Load of rubbish, I couldn't use my pre designed labels and you can only use specific dymo labels. waste of time.

Not what I expected from Dymo
I've had three or four LabelWriters inn the past but this one had had the steepest learning curve. More than enough wasted labels before successfully printed any. Trying to feed new labels through, as you would with a new printer, or when you change label stock, and nothing emerged, with no error message. They'd jammed and, in my experience can't be relied upon to emerge through the delivery orifice without intervention, which means removing the front panel. Having got that sorted out, there were more issues with the Connect software. I successfully imported my label manager database into it but still haven't managed to select a single address and print it, despite following the instructions. Copy and past would work but that isn't the point. Anyone printing eBay mailing labels and the like, print from the pdf, select the printer, then the label size in printer properties and clear the 'print full size' check box . The printer can be connected by ethernet, by the way, which will be useful for anyone who wants to network it.

This is a scam , very expensive to use
This is actually a nice printer, but be careful. it will ONLY USE DYMO labels . it WILL NOT WORK with other labels ( purchased from Amazon ) even if they have the same part number. The DYMO label have a chip in the roller card board core .which counts down ( and it not accurate ) and stops printing when it get to zero.. the DYMO label cost is about 11p per label. so that's over £1 for 10 label. if dymo stop making these labels the printer is useless. so nice printer but expensive to use

Bluetooth problems not as good as I thought it would be
Works well with the PC, prints fast and clear but real issues with Bluetooth connection. Needs a free USB connection. Great not to need ink but the labels are expensive and you cannot use other non branded labels.
