Took paint and rust off quickly without damaging/scuffing the surface. They do not last long, but worth it.

These strip wheels remove oxidation, paint, and surface rust quickly without digging in like a hard grinding disc. Great for metal prep. They do wear (normal), but the 10-pack is good value. Wear eye protection and a mask—these throw debris.

Takes surface rust quickly down to shiny metal. The abrasive grit might scratch polished surfaces. Sort of works to remove glue from hardcover bookbinding for recycling, but melted glue ends up filling the spaces in the strip disc. The glue is basically melted by friction and gets pushed by the rotating strip disc. For flat surfaces can leave stripes. This might be good for bulk removal for finishing with flap disc or sandpaper. For rust or other dry surface cleaning, a lot of dust cam be generated.

I'm using these to take paint off an aluminum boat. Results have been excellent with easy paint removal and leaving a nice polished surface. It does cause a lot of dust so a mask is a good idea. The pads are quite a bit more durable than I expected. I have not had any problem with pads disintegrating as some have stated, but eye protection is important as with any high speed grinding.

This rust removing wheel set was ordered for my Bosch angle grinder. The price was right and these are just as described. Makes removing surface rust on some of my power tools a simple task.

Very impressed by these stripping disc. I used them to remove a solid stain on my deck that the stain remover couldn’t lift. As you can see it got the job done very well. Solid stain is always a real pain to remove. This made the job much easier.

With the right touch, and keeping the disc as close to or near as possible to flat/level, primer ready surfaces can be achieved. If you dig in too much (Increasing the angle), the resulting reshape of the wood will show up during the finish coat. Used properly, this makes fast work of preping for the primer coat. I ordered one pack of 12 and partially used 1 disk on 32' of 1x4 pine construction lumber that was painted many years ago and severely weathered. That same disk looks like it could do another 4X as much more without any problem. Because of this product, I was able to reuse those trim boards on my garage, therefore I can enthusiastically recommend this product.

Rust removal on flat surfaces works good but pads don’t last as long as grinding wheels.

These are surely useful for certain niche tasks. Take a little getting used to..

Brilliant, got a old funny shaped floor to strip which is virtually all covered with thick varnish, not suitable for a floor sander due to the shape, tried belt sanders etc which just kept clogging and really slow tried these brilliant you have to be careful with it but also ideal for shaping back damage to look decent again and will need going over with an orbital sander to finish off

I have been trying to get rid of paint on a brick wall for weeks, got so exhausted with the task, tried many different kind of disks and tools until I found those disks. They are like foam : they get everywhere and remove everything, got the brick wall done in one time and the burnt on my stone wall removed too! Will definitely buy again if I ever have the need for them. Note that the foam is consumed quickly on hard surfaces and you may need several for your intended work.
