Aesthetica Translucent Setting Powder Matte Finishing Makeup Loose Setting

Great consistency and very subtle color

Great setting powder that lasts all day. From my experience this works well with all skin tones (I have caramel colored skintone). I love the price and this lasts for months.

I have to say that even though this translucent powder comes with instructions, I never fully figured out the best way to apply it correctly. I really wish there had been a short video or tutorial available when I ordered it — that would have made a big difference. One of the things I liked the most is that it comes with a generous amount of product, and the puff is very soft and pleasant to use. The packaging is sturdy and well-presented, which gives it a nice, high-quality feel. From my experience, this powder seems better suited for professional or special-occasion makeup rather than everyday use. It’s definitely functional and of good quality, but it takes a bit of practice to get the best results.

This is the first time I have ever used loose powder. Im 44 and have always used pressed powder. Can I just say GAME CHANGER! I have been missing out my whole life. This powder makes my skin look like porcelain. My skin looks so smooth I cannot believe it. It doesn't settle into lines around my eyes either which is why I was skeptical on getting it but the reviews were too good to ignore. I watched the product video and applied it just like she did. I apply my foundation and blush then sprinkle a little powder into the lid. Using the powder puff, I fold the puff in half and dip it into the powder and press it under my eyes, on my forehead, and nose and chin. Let it sit for a minute and then swirl it with a big powder brush. It sets your makeup perfect. I apply my makeup at 6:30 am and head to work. When I get home at 7 it looks the same. No need to reapply. I have oily skin and usually had to apply pressed powder throughout the day. You don't have to with this powder. And the powder is a huge size. Having to use so little each day, it will last a long time before needing to re purchase. I have nothing bad to say about this at all.

I'm not good with makeup in general so it could just be me but I was disappointed that this didn't last long on my skin. I followed all the recommendations but it didn't even hold up through lunch. Upon first applying it in the morning, I was super excited because it looked awesome! Gave my skin a beautiful yet natural looking finish. By lunch time, you couldn't even tell I had applied it. Maybe I didn't use enough to begin with. I will continue to use it because this was an expensive purchase for me. Maybe I can get it to work.

This product works very well. I put it on in the morning and it last 11 hours before I get a shine on my nose & forehead. I like how it feel light on my face and not cakie. I never tried the baking powder part and it last so much longer and blends into my foundation flawlessly.

I was a skeptic at first but really love these powders. I was an avid user of the air spun powder but it has harmful ingredients and started breaking me out. I switched to this two years ago as someone told me it was a dupe for a high end setting powder that I tried and loved. This has the same quality for a fraction of the cost. These powders have also never broke me out and the ingredients are as clean as they can be because let’s face it, nothing is truly clean. I use the translucent for setting under eyes and banana to set my T zone because I tend to be shiny in that area. Works great when I use foundation too to give me a more matte look.

I used this translucent powder for several months before switching a higher end brand. Pros: It is very fine, making it easy to use. It’s not too expensive, and you get a ton of it for the price. It’s also unscented, which I appreciate. It doesn’t settle in lines too bad, either. Cons: It’s not truly translucent, so it will cast that pale look to your skin. I had to buff away with a different brush to try and get rid of this. Also, within a couple hours, I had oil and shine coming through. Since this was the the main reason I needed a powder, I realized this one wasn’t the best pick for me. If your skin doesn’t have oily or shiny tendencies, this may work just fine for you. My skin is combination, so dry in some places and oily in others, so this powder just didn’t do everything I needed it to do. I ended up trying the Laura Mercier translucent powder, and I feel like it’s night and day as far as quality and how well it works for me personally. I am still looking for something that works as well as LM, but isn’t so pricey.
