I accidentally ordered the XL one the reordered the medium one I need. The medium one I got the second time I got had the strap so if it slipped I was ok to go. I figured if would give the XL to my son-in-law for his knee issues. I did wear the XL one once before receiving the correct size. The XL one never slipped nor fell down ☺️. Yes I had to take off the wrap around straps and reposition them, but yes it worked. Both braces worked amazingly. I have knee issues and fell twice on my left knee 25 years apart. Therefore, I need support for my old knees. Few weeks ago I was at work walking extremely fast to get my work done quickly. While doing this I hyperextended my knee thus bring me to purchase this knee brace in the first place. I set my limits to 30 & 90. Great knee support. Only complaint is on the medium one because I use that one all the time. It sqeeks just like other reviewers state. I used baby powder - worked for 5 minutes😒. Then I used graphite, it work for like 5 days before seeking again. So grphite is the way to go. Just put a paper plate or something to catch the extra underneath. I also had to reposition the hooks that are used for the strap. The velcro was unpleasant on my skin. I have not used the strap at all but probably need to because it does slip. I have not used the support strap yet because we moved and it it packed somewhere away.

First i wish i could deduct only a HALF star for NO INSTRUCTIONS?!? But minus a full star would be unfair - it was not very hard to figure out, especially not after lookingvatvreviews and videos for this and similar products. With limited use so far (several periods of use in one day): the flex and extension dials were easy to understand, to set, and did what they were supposed to do. My son's thigh is right on the line between L and XL (21 inches); we got XL which was able to be tightened very snug/securely. The relatively long design, with two tightening straps for each of thigh and calf, seem to allow fir some customizeability and hold the hinge bars pretty firmly aligned with upper and lower leg. The materials and construction seem sturdy and of good quality, especially for a device that was a half or a third the price of fancier alternatives. The flex limitation works almost exactly as set (ie, 90 degree setting limits flexion to 90 degrees). You have to set the extension limiter a little higher than the extension-limitation you actually want (ie, set it at 20 or 45 degrees to limit to 10-15 degrees). This problem is minimized by tightening the straps very tight. Overall, it does what it is supposed to, was comfortable enough, secure/did not slide down my son's leg while he was actively moving around. Very happy i bought it.

I got this brace to immobilize my knee after falling on it. It's actually really comfortable and I can wear it for the whole day with no issues. It keeps my leg straight and braced, taking all pressure off my knee. It does slide down a little and I need to readjust it periodically, but that's not a big deal. I'm only giving it 4 stars because as others have also noted, it started squeaking the day after I got it.

Great brace! Easy to use and sturdy

I would actually give this product a 4 star because it really does help relieve the stress on my knee from my injury, BUT the non-stop squeaky noise when I am walking is non-stop!! Not even a can of WD-40 can resolve this issue. It’s clearly a design flaw and if you look at the reviews , you can see that is the biggest complaint !!

I only need this for a couple of weeks so I’m not sure how viable long term it is but it’s been just wonderful. It fits so snuggly and feels really good. I love the adjustability. if you have need of an immobilization brace that is also something you can change the angle with I highly recommend it because nobody should keep their knee in exactly the same position for their entire immobilization period and being able to refine and subtly change it by a few degrees makes such a difference! The fit is great. The feel is really comfortable. It doesn’t slide down when I’m on my crutches. It keeps me feeling like I’m doing the right thing all the time. I’ve been able to sleep comfortably in it as well as get around. It allows me to change it to go in and out of my car fantastic device.

I bought this for my mom. She has a dramatic amount of hyperextension in her left knee. Some reviews said that the brace helped to prevent hyperextension but, it does not. I will be returning it soon.

Worked great for my needs. Size was accurate according to the size chart. It does squeak a little, but nothing crazy. It did slide down a few times, but that's normal; your thigh is bigger than your calf. I LOVE that I could adjust it to bend when driving, then adjust back to "immobilizer" when I reach my destination. I'm already wearing it less because my knee is healing. Best bang for you buck!

I had a tumble down the stairs and sprained my ankle and tore my knee ligaments the splint the nhs gave me was terrible and i had to take it off but because of this i have damaged my knee more. Saw another cheaper version but was worse so i bought this one and its fantastic. Im a larger lady so bought xl. When i put it on i didnt think it was going to do much but boy was i wrong. I can get on with daily life especially walking as it stays in place. Quite bulky but nothing major. I love you can alter the flex and extention easily. Well worth the price. Fingers crossed my knee will start to heal properly now

Do the job and the price is very good in comparison with similar ones on the market.

Initially this brace was great, however, 3 weeks into wearing it daily for a torn MCL, the brace has lost its rigidity. Although I’ve had it locked at 30 degrees, over time the material has stretched and the ROM isn’t accurate. It doesn’t accurately lock at the required degree, meaning I can flex my knee further than I’ve set the hinges to. If needing a hinged brace for 2 weeks, this brace is great, anything longer than that, I wouldn’t recommend.

A good piece of kit. Helped my knee pain.
