Exactly how big should you print your image?

I'm not sure about that. I bought the machine twice and it broke each time. Our neighbor bought the same one and the same pieces kept breaking on them also.

Can this make buttons without the pins? So you can glue them on to other things or make magnets?

Part of the process is to press the back of the button onto the front part. The back part comes with the pin already through the holes. You could remove the pin and the press process would still allow you to press the front and back together. At that point, you could glue a magnet to the back or glue the button onto something else. Yes, it is possible.
