Review: A lot of information but I was expecting .ore basic information. - Not really what I expected. I was explanation on things like different types of relays, etc. This did not give me that but still very useful bunch of information on other stuff. Review: Good book - Nice introduction, very nice automation knowledge on instruments, gear and equipment in the industry. But it’s too short for me. I wanted to find more knowledge and deeper learning. I guess is for newbies

Not worth it.
Seriously, I felt I could have obtained a better overview of automation by watching YouTube and reading a few wiki pages. And the price? Really? I probably should have realised from the cover. I would expect this to be free or £0.99, but £17? Save your time and money and look for something else.

Like reading someone's dissertation
If you were like an electrician , this book is for you. If you wanted to understand the terminologies of things relating to this sector I wouldn't recommend. It's filled with information that I feel not for people who do not have tangible exp in this sector.

Good introduction series
All my basic doubts are clear. I am not an expert on PLC's , HMI and IPCs and needed to just see how the interface for these devices look and some other basic info. All these were available in a simple and effective way. Good book
