So slick, the foot goes in like butter
This product works! I use it with a device called a Shuvvie which easily opens the shell of my 130 flex ski boot, and with the Ski Boot Horn already inserted into the boot at THE PROPER HEIGHT, my foot easily slides into the boot. I noticed some people complaining that their boot was 14" high and this boot horn was way too short. My boot is a standard design - about 14" high - but the instructions carefully point out (and it is written right on the boot horn) to only slide the boot horn down to the black line on the boot horn. I also saw people complaining that it wrinkled and was too thin. Again, if you follow the instructions to only place the plastic boot horn down to the black line, there will be little wrinkling. A couple of times when first using the boot horn, I accidentally pushed it too far down into the boot and it wrinkled a bit (and hurt a little). However, as I continued to use the item properly, the wrinkles went away. For the small price you pay, this is a quality product. The days of straining and struggling to get my boot on are gone. Now I just slide in the ski boot horn, attach the Shuvvie, and smile as my foot easily slides in. Keep in mind that warm boots are easier to get into than frozen boots.

Amazing for Cowboy boots
If you struggle putting on cowboy boots that have a narrow shaft, get this boot horn. Don’t even think twice, just get it. I have a pair of Chisos boots that took forever to get my foot into. I think I even messed up one of the heel counters trying to stomp my foot into the boot. The first time that I used this product my foot slid right down the shaft and my heel popped right into the boot. I couldn’t believe it! I know that it’s just a piece of plastic and seems expensive, but man, it works incredibly well.

I’m 50 & Just Found My Sliced Bread!
“The Greatest Thing Since Pre-Sliced Cheese!” If you’ve ever tried to wrestle your foot into a ski boot and ended up looking like you were auditioning for Cirque du Soleil, then this ski boot horn is about to change your life. This magical little piece of flexible plastic makes slipping your foot into your boot easier than a Tinder date who’s already picked the movie. Gone are the days of parking lot struggles that resemble trying to stuff a reluctant dog into a bathtub. With this gem in hand, my boots practically begged me to slide my foot in—no grunting, no sweating, and no wondering if I should’ve warmed up with yoga first. It’s lightweight, it’s effective, and it’s so simple it feels like witchcraft. I can’t believe I spent years struggling like a fool when this miracle tool existed. 5 stars? Nah—this deserves 10 stars and a standing ovation. Buy it. Use it. Thank me later when you’re not the one flailing like an upside-down turtle in the parking lot.

The ski boot horn worked as hoped for
I’ve used the ski boat boot horn twice now and it has worked perfectly. I have a narrow boot that feels great when it’s on and buckled up. But, it’s a bear to get on; especially my larger right foot. The ski boot horn virtually eliminated that problem. I can imagine if you overworked it or pulled too hard on the grommet hole it could rip. But there’s really no reason to muscle it removing it from the boot.

These are great to get into your boots
This looks like a stupid purchase, but they actually work very well to get you into your ski boots.

Save yourself some money - They certainly did!
I understood the concept of this and read reviews saying just to . . . cut out the shape from a windshield washer bottle, and then I thought, "Stop being so cheap! Just pay the ridiculous price for the product (a sheet of plastic) and BE DONE!" Well I went to use it and was UNIMPRESSED as the length of this horn is at least 3 or 4 inches too short! I wear a men's size 10 or so and my ski boots run about 14" from heel to top of boot, this thing if I use it as they prescribe to the line is only about 8.5" long so my heel slides nicely and then gets stuck where it always did before! I have to drop this thing down until there is nothing to grip on it other than the little string to extract it after my foot is in the boot and this is not real convenient or Why I spent this much money for a product that "Just works." If you're wondering, my wife wears a women's size 8 and her boots run 13 " heel to top of boot so don't just think this is a big guy issue. The product is meant to work in Ski Boots and it is grossly undersized and Overpriced. I suppose someone determined that if they shorten it they could get more product out of a 12" roll of raw material and save money, But this is a stupid amount of money for a Product that is Undersized for the job it is intended to do. I suggest you take a tape measure to your own boots before you dump your money here. My wife buys these boot shaper plastic inserts, 2 pair or basically 4 of these things which are 17" tall for less money than this thing. https://smile.amazon.com/Household-Essentials-69104-2-Shaper-Inserts/dp/B006M9F50S/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1535463261&sr=8-1&keywords=cedar%2Bfresh%2Bboot%2Bcare&th=1 I just feel that if you're going to overcharge for a "Special use item" it at least better do the job very effectively and this product unfortunately Falls Short ... pun intended!
