This book was a huge help in college and my first year of elementary education. It was very thorough. It was easy to read and follow. It would even be a good book to just refresh your memory.

Great practical classroom management book, but beware
It's a great book with lots of practical, common sense principles that you can apply to your teaching practice. Just beware that unfortunately in this day and age of horrendous school leadership, some of the advice in this book might actually get you in trouble with your school administrators. Proceed at your own risk.
