This brick does not work with the above mentioned monitor. It likely doesn't work with most of the advertised monitors. Buyers beware.

Does work for the Samsung SyncMaster SA950
Picked up the monitor at a thrift store for a very good price, however it didn't have the adapter, and of course I was taking a huge gamble on whether it works or not. Ordered adapter through Amazon, arrived within the time frame as was promised. With great anticipation I plugged the adapter in with fingers crossed. It works perfectly and my gamble of purchasing the monitor paid off. I do however discovered a concern with the adapter. It gets extremely hot to the touch, so much so that when I'm not using my computer, I unplug it out of fear that it might cause a fire. I'm contemplating returning it hopefully for an exchange for one that doesn't have that issue.
