You would have to seal it with mod podge dishwasher safe. Does have a 20 day curing. (Well worth it)

Is it coloured on the sticky side too?

yes it is the same color on the back side.

would it work on faux leather ?

I would probably use heat transfer vinyl for faux leather. This kind of vinyl is better suited for hard surfaces such as plastic or glass. It will stick though.
