Worked on my Sony headphones as advertised. old pads come off easy, but takes a few tries to get the knack of stretching the new pads over the earphones, but mat'l is tough and stands up to the stretching. comes w/little plastic tool that is not much help. I used a dull blade (butter knife) to wedge the new pads into place. careful! a sharp knife would cut the new pads. once in place, the replacement pads look, feel and work like the factory originals.

I’ve read some reviews that said these are too small for the Sony WH-CH700N. It is not too small. It’s just a PITA to get it on. You have to hold one side in place while pulling the other side into place. It feels like you’re going to rip them but they’re pretty tuff and flexible. Took me about 5 tries. On the 5th try I said, “to hell with it if it rips!!” 😂 But it didn’t and they fit perfectly. They aren’t as soft as the original but feel comfortable. Although my OEMs are gray I picked the blue replacement pads because blue is my favorite color. 😁

I was worried that the color feels different on the photos but once I received the earphone covers they are exactly the same color as the OEM ones. Putting them on took some patience but not as hard as some make them out to be. There was no instructions but I don't think you need instructions. The tool wasn't useful so I didn't even use the tools just stretch from one side and slowly going around.

Honestly I like these better than the original ones that it came with, the padding is better, the fit is better, and the quality seems to just be a step up from the old ones and that's big cause the ones that originally came with didn't last long, these feel like they'll at least outlast the old earpads. Putting them on wasn't as hard as I saw other people say they had trouble with, once I got one side in I just shimmied it around and went back and forth, so installation was overall easy.

These are comfortable and not too difficult to install, especially if you use the tool they come with. The color is close to the originals, but not exactly the same, if that's something that matters to you. The quality seems good - but only at first. Six months in, the cushion outer skin material started to separate from where it attaches at the edges. The picture I've attached is from eight months after purchasing. They're still holding together, but just barely. It's a pity, because they're pretty good otherwise.

Feels and looks exactly like the original. Color (blue) also exact match. A little hard to install but a tight fit is necessary.
