should capsules have a loud odor?

I didn't notice a loud odor with my purchase though there could have been. I have purchased several supplements in capsule form and yes, a loud smell is not uncommon. I have especially noticed a loud scent in iron based vitamins. However, if you have a concern about the freshness of your product you should contact the manufacturer.

Since this is a single-producer product, are any of the hives used to pollenate GMO crops? Corn, sugar beets, zucchini, canola, etc.?

I have ordered and used this product for the last 5 years and it has kept us healthy and free of flu, colds etc. I ordered directly from Durham's web site and the product is shipped promptly and always with a note of thanks and a sample. I would find this review funny except hat it is damning the company without facts. Really...Canola crops don't exist, there is no "canola plant". Canola Oil is an abbreviated form of "Canada Oil" and is pressed from Rape seeds. Before you write a review please do a little research. Durham's is a wonderful company and I am just a happy customer.

What exactly do these capsules do??

They are supposed to be a good source of minerals and vitamins and I have read that they can enhance childrens growth and increase vitality to all ages, I guess its a natural food that has a long history in remedies and health in general, my take on this brand is that I did not like the fact that they dont mention the source of the gelatin used for the capsules
