Great tool for inserting contacts
I have trouble getting contact lenses in. I’ve tried several tools and while they work, they’re still somewhat complicated. This particular tool is easy to use and seemed to have a higher success rate than others I’ve used. Struggling recommend.

The optometrist's lens insertion tool
I have gas permeable scleral lenses. The lenses are huge (the size of times, truly) and *must* be inserted precisely; they will not "float" into place like smaller lenses will. I've mastered inserting these with my fingertips, a skill that many people never acquire. But sometimes my hand is too shaky and I have to use the tool (which I call the "golf tee"). This DMV scleral cup is the same one that my optometrist gave me when I first started to wear the lenses. Because I never want to be in a situation where I cannot rely on my fingers to do the job, I ordered this set. I carry one in my bathroom, one in my car, and one in my purse. I chose the cobalt blue because its intense color was easier for me than other colors. TIP FROM MY OPTOMETRIST: If you find the cup difficult to use, then snip the end of it until you see a hole with light coming through. When you peer through the cup to insert your lens, seeing the light will help you precisely focus your eye.

Comes in a nice container which keeps it clean when traveling. I cut the bottom off making it easier to guide contact into eye.

Hard contact lens wearer
Keratoconus hard contact lens wearer here and these are amazing. The suction will eventually wear out and you’ll have to replace it. It’s worth the cost and it’s travel friendly.

Must have for Scleral lenes
If you have scleral lenes these are a must have. Makes it easy to put the lenes on. I like to cut the tip off to make it easier to put on. They are small enough for keep one everywhere
