Edit: for those saying it doesnt lather or its too clumpy to apply its because you aren’t emulsifying it. It lathers extremely well when you do. Do you have extremely sensitive skin? Like the type of sensitive where you can't even wash your face EVERY single day because products are too harsh type-sensitive? Or the type of sensitive where facial moisturizers will quite literally break you out? As someone who has deeply struggled with acne and my skin overall since middle school, this is the ONLY product that I completely trust (which pairs beautifully with the JunoSkin Melting Balm) You guys... I NEVER write any reviews simply because there has never been a product where I felt like it needed my energy/time to write a review for. However, this product is a complete game changer. *The picture I uploaded is the most problematic side of skin (my left cheek) post workout and HAVEN'T washed my skin yet, no filter, no makeup, nothing. A little backstory on me, I originally started using Cetaphil's Gentle Daily Cleanser but even THAT was extremely harsh on my skin and would cause me to break out/not clear up any acne or dry my skin out completely. However it was the only product my skin would tolerate whenever I needed to clean my skin. I resorted to even making homemade natural treatments like rice water masks, honey masks, and things of that nature and those still did not help my skin at all. Until this! This product is absolutely insane. AS SOON as you use it, you will literally feel any irregularities/acne minimize instantly on your face and it STAYS like that even if you decide not to wash your skin the next day. I like to put it on in the shower and use it as a "mask" while I wash the rest of my body and then rinse off. I will add it can sometimes be drying if you use it frequently (I have oily dominant- combination skin). I will ride hard for this product as long as they don't change a single thing about it because my skin is that sensitive. This is the clearest my skin has ever been, i know its not perfect but comparing to where I started my inner child is truly so happy 🥹, so I will leave my nighttime routine down below for anyone else who may be able to relate (a little goes a long way for me): - Junoskin no. 10 Cleansing Balm (only when I have makeup on or when my pores are clogged) - Cetaphil Clarifying Acne Cream Cleanser (I personally like to let my skin air dry after use) - Good molecules Discoloration Correcting Face Serum (I honestly have no clue how this product doesn't break me out but it is absolutely amazing) - Good molecules Hyaluronic Acid Supplements: - Biotin and collagen gummies (GREAATTTT for hair skin and nails) - Chlorophyll water (Gives such a distinct glow/color to skin it's insane, it will help with digestion/deodorization too) I hope this review helps someone because like I said, I TRULY never leave reviews lol.

I cannot believe how much I love this cleanser! Let me start off and say I’ve tried many different cetaphil products in the past and nothing ever stood out to me. I was previously using the youth to the people cleanser which I love but I don’t love spending $30 plus dollars on a face wash. I have oily acne prone skin and I’m currently using tretinoin as my main and only active. Since the tretinoin is so strong and often disturbs my skin barrier I can’t use any other leave on acids without irritating my skin which is where this product comes in. I feel like this is the product my skin was missing. It gives the tret that little boost that my skin was needing without aggravating my face and causing more breakouts. I’ve been using this alongside the tret since may and this is the clearest my skin has been for years! Even when my period rolls around I'm not getting any angry hormonal breakouts. I will say the texture is a little strange getting used to. I usually just emulsify the cleanser up in my hands with water and continue washing my face as normal. It washes off clean but not stripped and never leaves any residue behind. I also like use this almost like a mask when I shower by washing my face & leaving it on while I wash the rest of my body/shave etc. it gives the salicylic acid a little more time on my face to work it’s magic. I will definitely keep buying and using this I’m praying they never discontinue! Good luck to all the others struggling with oily acne prone skin! Update; I’m gutted cetaphil discontinued the SA cleanser from this line!! I tried the new one in a pump bottle and it is loaded with shea butter and seed oils which surprise surprise broke me out. I tried the exfoliating SA wash in a different line from cetaphil and it’s just doesn’t work as well. Looks like you lost me as a customer cetaphil. Please bring my holy grail back :,(

I dont like that this product doesn't lather. It's hard to spread around and takes a bit more cleanser to wash with. I will say that my face feels extremely clean right after using. But it strips a little too much oil, causing my combination skin to overproduce a few hours after washing. Then im trying to soak up excess oil for the rest of the day. Im not sure how "gentle" they can get a product that has salicylic acid in it. Ive been using this in combination with this lines mattifying moisturizer and Hero brands pore release toner/solution. The trio is a little harsh on my skin (causes peeling and redness, as the label warns it might). So I have to alternate and give my skin a break every few days. After using for a few weeks, it is starting to help my blackheads and pores shrink a bit and also the blackheads have become a little easier to remove. This is overall a good product and I will keep using it as it is helping, it just might not be the perfect product for combination/oily/sensitive skin.

Take out spots from the face

This is one of the best Salicylic Acid cleanser for dry and sensitive acne prone skin. This is gentle enough to use everyday and will still leave your skin feeling moisturised after. I would 100% recommend this to anybody with acne-prone skin.

I have been using Cetaphil products for about 10 months now. i love this acne wash because I still get hormonal pimples especially when its close to that time of the month. i think I have combination skin and t zone is oily. Before using these products I only used Clearasil lol but i am only 29 now and was naïve to the skin care game. After using Cetaphil my face has improved a lot, I am always conscious on what I put on my skin. My t zone oil problem has actually improve a lot. My face is not dry when using Cetaphil products. Pertaining to this wash. It serves it purposes. if I have acne, I will also do spot treatments so the next day the pimple has decreased in size or is almost completely gone. I use this to wash my face in morning. Nothing is harsh and no smell. I bought it here because Walmart and Target was out.

This is indeed a gentle, non-stripping facewash. I have oily/combination skin and it cleanses well enough but only if I apply it with a face brush. Just rubbing it between my palms and onto my face does not get the job done well.

Doesn’t cleanse properly. Salicylic acid content is small so doesn’t prevent breakouts

Didn’t work for me as i have oily sensitive skin. i got bumps all over my face in 3 days .
