This tool is amazing. I bought it for my 98 jeep cherokee xj and it worked a hundred times better than i hoped it would. My absolute favorite part about the tool is it has a built in pressure regulator so you dont burst the heater core which is what i was super nervous about in the first place, especially this being my first time doing a heater core flush. But with this tool attatched i had my garden hose on full blast and before i put this tool on my jeep i sprayed it to see how the pressure was and it was super soft even after using the adjustment on the handle. Put this on my hose with the hose clamp so it wouldnt leak and it was all done in 5 minutes. The air button is what made the process so quick and super worth the extra money. Run the water through and send a blast of air every few seconds with the water and now i have flawless working heat in a jeep with almost 300k miles. And saved me hours and hours of labor time pulling my dashboard and hvac box just to replace the heater core. It really cant be more straightforward or easier to use and super effective.

This tool is pretty expensive for what it is, but when compared to the cost of a visit to the mechanic, it pays for itself pretty quickly. My heater core was plugged, and previously I had taken it to a mechanic to flush. This year I decided to try it myself. I bought this tool and successfully got heat back in my truck. Perfect! The tool is easy to use and very straightforward. I set my air compressor to 20 psi, and it worked great.

Good design and helped me purge some head gasket sealer from a heater core. Used no more than 12 psi though, because we didnt want to blow up the heater core. We got 1 side to work but not the other. Overall, I am happy with it. Just be mindful of pressure. The previous owner sold the car to us like this.

I had no interior heat in my truck! Diagnosis: heater core is plugged with rust and particles. I used this backflush tool the same day it arrived. Now, the interior heat is cooking! The addition of the compressed air really does the job. Just make sure you're out of the line of fire when hitting the air. I highly recommend this tool.

The dealership wanted $2400 to replace my heater core on my Toyota Tundra. The heater core was plugged, not allowing heat to come out of the driver side vents, only had heaton the passenger side vents. I’ve flushed heater cores years ago with success and thought I would give this flush tool a try. I’m glad I did. This flush tool is heavily built with good materials. After flushing the heater core with this tool I immediately had unbelievable heat (160 degrees) coming out of the drivers side vents and passenger side vents. This Lisle Heater back flush tool was worth every dollar!!! Along with this tool, antifreeze, and 1 1/2 hours of my time, for a total of $100.00 I fixed my heat issue!!!! This flush tool is amazing!!!! But it with confidence!!!

Al ser un producto de la prestigiosa marca Lisle yo esperaba que fuera una pistola de agua que al aplicarle presión neumatica (aire a presión) acelerara la presión y la velocidad del agua y no es así al contrario cuando estas aplicando agua y presionas el gatillo del aire se reduce el flujo de agua, pienso que es porque la conexión está en T y en la salida del agua, entonces el aire se reparte entre la salida y la otra parte de presión a la misma manguera regresando agua si fuese al revés que el aire entrara por detrás del flujo de agua saldría con más velocidad y presión

Works as advertised. Used on 2016 Ram 2500 6.4 HEMI with weak/no heat from vents, dealer's diagnostics indicated partially plugged heater core. Removed rubber intake and return lines from aluminum manifold lines, ***IMPORTANT*** using low pressure hot water back flushed and forward flushed about 5 times each way (some sand and crud came out) before using Prestone Total Coolant system flush (its sodium acetate, mild cleaner) for about 10 minutes using a transfer pump and bucket to cycle thru the heater core. Estimated about 1.5 teaspoons worth of fine sand and small chunks of rust and crud (fine sand likely from the aluminum casting) Back and forward flushed another 15 times each way until no more material was flushed out into bucket. Blew out using low pressure air (10 psi) to remove remaining water. Re-connected system, added pre-mix coolant, burped air out of system, initially no heat but as soon as got into highway and hit working temps (100C) the heat came back, almost too hot to hold hand next to vents. Great tool for flushing heater core, another Happy customer!

US-made product. A bit pricey but the quality is really good! if your heater core is plugged, do NOT put 90psi air through it! you will blow a hole on it. If there is no clog, 90psi is okay

Product works great, friend of mine has one that i borrowed, so i bought my own.

This worked great at unplugging my heater core, saving a big repair bill. It is a little awkward at times, but that was expected.
