Great to use. It is also thinner than hard board and cheaper than Ditra if you don't need waterproof.

This product works well and silenced the poorly installed OSB subfloors in our large bath. You do not have to go straight to tile installation, in my case I installed the Stratamat and came back the next day to lay my tile and it worked out perfectly. This method of matting will require tons of mortar to get the job done but until they device a better method, this beats the heck out of backerboard and insane screw patterns.

Ditra clone, cheaper and cures faster because of reliefs in the product, not water-proof like Ditra though. Much faster and easier than cbu, excellent crack prevention.

Helping sub floor strength

Seems to be good - should be less expensive for a plastic mat. Like that it went down easy and keeps the floor elevation lower than the cement board.

Worked very well for our tile needs.

Worked out great! Easy to handle, cut and place. So much easier that hauling heavy sheet of backerboard and much cleaner to work with.

I ordered three roles of the 150 foot roll product only to find out that the height was not consistent so when that seem tile went on one side was higher. Net effect, more thinset on the lower side and more time to make sure tile is level.
