Excellent for beginning readers
My six year old grandson has been obsessed with interactive app of The Fabulous Flying Books of Mr. Morris Lessmore since he was three, especially the page where Morris hands out Alice in Wonderland, Treasure Island, A Christmas Carol, and Treasure Island. I told him they were all real books, and that we'd read them as soon as he was ready. He's starting to read on his own (thank you, Mr. Morris Lessmore!) and I purchased this book for him so he could have a taste of the books Mr. Morris Lessmore offers. Yes, it's simplified, and no, it's not as good as the original, but it's perfect for a beginning reader to get a sense of the story and experience the thrill of sounding out words to make a story.
