Nice machine
I have used this for corn dogs, corn bread, waffle sticks, and sausage in muffins. I really like it for corn bread. No need to heat the large oven for some corn bread, and it is fast. The package mix makes 8 or so sticks, enough for 2 easily. The corn dogs worked well also, using a package corn bread mixes. I tried to make sure the batter was not too thin, but still had a difficult time getting it to stick to the hot dogs. Found that just spooning it onto one side, placing in the cooker with that side down, then covering the top with more batter worked pretty well. Had to work quickly since the cooking starts immediately. The waffle sticks were also fine. The sausage in muffin mix did not work as well, tended to split apart, but probably just needed to cook a bit longer. Most of these items needed to be turned over: cook for 3 minutes, turn, cook another minute or so to brown that side. Often the batter would spill between the sections and had to be cut in order to be able to turn the item. This has been fun and functional.

This machine is so fun! My husband and son love corn dogs and I was spending a small fortune at the grocery store to keep the freezer stocked. Since I received this little gem, I just make them fresh when the craving hits. These are baked , not fried so I think they are a little healthier than the frozen veriety, however, the taste is great. Our favorite batter to use is either Marie Calenders Honey corn bread mix or Zatarain's Honey Butter Cornbread Mix. Both are great! The machine is easy to use and easy to clean. It comes with sticks that I just wash and reuse after use.

Love corn pups...
Just use cornbread batter. The recipe with the appliances is not as good. No sticking, easy-to-use, fun to eat!

Holy Moly! Where has this little machine been all my life??
I love this little machine! It arrived last night, and I could not wait to plug this baby in and start making corn dogs. I actually don't like the taste of hot dogs, so I always smother the corndogs with mustard to camouflage the flavor of the meat. (If that's what you want to call the carcinogenic little buggers.) I have been vegan (whole food plant-based) for seven years now, and so it has been a long time since I have eaten one of these old favorites. A couple of days ago I attempted to make a vegan sausage and was disappointed to have created something more akin to the texture of a hot dog, though with a decidedly superior flavor and with healthy ingredients, mostly blackeyed peas. It was the ideal dog to use with these delightful little corndogs. I also created a vegan cornbread batter that worked perfectly. This has made my day. I have discovered you can quickly reheat the corn dogs by setting them back into the machine and heating them until the light goes off. Thumbs up, CucinaPro! I'm sold!

Made gluten free corn dogs finally!
I was tired of looking for frozen corn dogs in the grocery store that were gluten free and dairy free for our child who loves corn dogs but can’t have the gluten or dairy. So we are making our own at home now thanks to this corn dog maker! Easy to use and clean up, simple instructions, and even a great recipe for making the corn dog batter included in the instructions. A package of sticks are included as well. Besides the other pancake mix with sausage in the middle recipe, I want to dream up more things to make in this cute little machine!

Perfect little breakfast dogs!
Love this little thing! So far I've made breakfast dogs (pancakes/sausage) and they came out perfect! Tip: Use a cup for the batter! Dip the hot dog or sausage in the batter in the cup, place the batter-coated hotdog/sausage in the corn dog maker and use a spoon to add a small amount (maybe a tsp) to fill in the gap, close it, and voila, a perfect little treat in about 4 minutes! You can flip them for a nice even golden color. I also used a tiny amount of oil on a paper towel to grease the molds before each batch. Super easy to clean up after!

Práctica pero…..
Está muy práctica pero parece que es para salchichas más delgadas porque queda muy poco espacio para la masa, por lo que no salen banderillas como las esperadas. Más bien terminan siendo salchichas capeadas.
