Is this a 120 volt drywall sander

Yes, it is a 120 V 800W wall sander for drywall.

How do you know when the brushes need to be replaced?

When the brushes don’t touch the armature anymore, that all needs a regular maintenance program, blow out with air , and cleaned , make sure it’s unplugged from the electrical source , then proceed with cleaning

Would this work to lightly sand wood walls?

I would say yes, with a caveat. You'd have to have a very light hand on the pressure and use some light grit sandpaper. It can rip through material quickly if you're too heavy-handed.

Hi, does this wall sander work to remove orange peel texture from the wall? Thanks in advance!

I’m assuming it can with enough sanding discs but if there’s paint on the texture it’s likely going to be difficult. Another suggestion from experience is to use a texture gun, spray texture on the wall and then use a wide mud knife to smooth it out, creating a skim coat and then come back and sand it down.
