TL;DR - This adaptor works with old iPhones (XR) and AppleCar. _____________________________________________ I've used this particular adaptor for some time. I've been trying to move our household over to USB-C cables, since that is what we use for our Macbooks (which only have USB-C ports) but needed an adaptor for using the cords with our family's iPhones until we made the switch to the iPhone with the USB-C port, and I didn't want to buy a bunch of USB-C to Lighting cables that would be mostly unnecessary in a few months. Having used this adaptor to backup my old iPhone (data) and charge from a wall socket (power), I was already satisfied with them. However, it wasn't until a week ago that I realized that while I would have an iPhone with a USB-C port, my wife would have an iPhone with a lighting port, making the Carplay situation and swapping cables a nightmare. I wasn't sure this adaptor would work with Carplay and if the data requirements were different. However, I bought a few more and tested these adaptors with my iPhone XR, and a USB to USB-C Anker Cable, and it works perfectly, just as before. Very happy with them so far. Fingers crossed the rubber dongle helps keep the adaptor from disappearing...

Good quality this is the 4 time I'm buying this, I tried other adapters and all are bad quality. These ones I can use in any cable and it don't loose charge power

I recently bought the 2-Pack, 27W, USB C to Lightning Adapter for my iPhone, and I'm really happy with my purchase! These adaptors work great with my iPhone 14 and allow for fast charging without any issues. I love how compact they are; they fit perfectly in my bag without taking up much space. With just a bit of occasional use, the Lightning (iPhone) side of the connector came apart INSIDE of my iPad. No longer could anything be connected to my iPad and the problem was not immediately evident until more closely inspected with a magnifying glass. On inspection, I found that the metal frame around the lightning connector was gone from the male side of the connector and still jammed inside of the female side of the connector in my iPad. Fortunately I had the proper tools to extract the broken piece from the iPad. But this could have been a very lengthy and expensive repair on my part. This should not have happened. If this happens to you, a straight pointed metal pick and a pair of jewelers' needle nose pliers will be your best friend.

Works well for charging fruit devices like fruitdevice13 (phone) lanyard to attach to the USB cable is good so losing the adapter is more difficult

One of these stopped working and would not charge my phone after five months of using it occasionally. My phone would look like it was charging however the percentage would not change for hours. Luckily it was a two pack so I swapped it out with the other one which has been working fine. I liked the rubber lanyard because it would not slide up and down the USB cable, and would stay at the end of the cable. However the adapter itself would slip out of the lanyard occasionally. It seems they changed the lanyard since I bought it and now the loop that goes around the adapter looks wider so maybe the adapter will no longer will slip out as much. I like the finish, it seems pretty solid, and wasn't loose or anything when plugged in. I've only used this for charging and I've never used it for data. The charging speed seemed reasonable to me (when it was working).

Recently was given an iPhone 13 for work. Personally I prefer Android. Didn’t want to invest into Lighting cable’s so opted for a cheaper solution. Using the USB to Type C cable I use to run Android Auto with my Note 20 Ultra I added one of these and low and behold no issue with iPhone and CarPlay. Can confirm I had success in my 2021 Toyota Tacoma.

A very handy adaptor, especially when you have a phone with a lightning connector and an iPad with a USB connector. One cable does it all - no need to wonder where the correct cable is hiding. Certainly recommended.

Works as advertised

the fit is poor, as the male end doesn't completely insert into the device being charged.... and the device will not allow sufficient current to pass to the phone from the charger...i expect it is a matter of too much resistance or other material issues....i'll keep it as i found one charger that will work whereas two others would not...using the same cable in each case.
