This arrived on time and in perfect condition. It was fresh and easy to use. I made some easy blackberry jam in 15 minutes following the label instructions. The jam set up well and tasted delicious. I will buy this again.

I tried using sure jell Followed the directions precisely, and have been having issues with it actually solidifying. I have also heard from several other people that they have been having the same issues. Ball always works. This one and their sugar free. I had to use ball sugar free to redo the stuff done with Sure Jell that didn't work. Ball saved the day.

Love it jams, and jellies turned out perfect will buy from again

I made my first batch of apple marmalade. It was not perfect, but for my first attempt, it was acceptable. This product is my backup and possibly my goto in preparing my future sandwich and toast spreads. It definitely is less expensive that store bought products. It allows me to use apples, bananas and other fruits, which I always seem to have an abundance.

There is something nurturing about making jams and canning. While jam is loaded with sugar it still makes me feel good knowing that my family and friends are not eating heavily process jelly with HFC in it and heaven knows what else. Strawberries were a good deal a couple weeks back and I took advantage, I bought two flats and made jam and pie filling, I normally use low sugar pectin, I was not so happy with the result last time, the jam ended up watery after a few months. My jam turned out quite well this time, I made two batches and would have made cherry too except for running out of jars. It has been nice to treat the mailman and the UPS guy as a small sign of appreciation for all of the goodies they bring me from Amazon. This pectin gives consistent results and unless my jam making turns into a bigger hobby requiring bulk pectin I will continue to purchase this one.

Helpful with all fruit that we used!

I always heard about using pectin for making jellys, but always did mine with the natural pectin from fruit. I decided to try this after purchasing a ball Jelly Maker, which works fantastic. It does somewhat give a slight change to the rich taste of natural guava jelly, but it thickens well and cuts down on the amount of sugar used. I did not use the full measurement -i cut it down by half, and the jelly came out almost perfect. I just need a bit more practice to get it right. I am really pleased that I am able to reduce the amount of sugar used.

Can honestly say this is a 5 STAR product. Used it in 4 batches of jam, blueberry and peach. Did half with regular amount of sugar the other half low sugar. I used the Ball Automatic Jam Maker. AMAZING PRODUCT. Just follow their recipes in their book or online. All 16 jars set up . The peach low sugar was the best ,fantastic look and peach taste. Looking forward to making apple jelly now.
