Prostorm Compact Travel Umbrella, Portable Windproof Umbrella for Rain

First blush: just received the product so I have no long-term experience BUT I am impressed with the quality of the article, the ease of opening and closing, the way it is made and the apparent perfect match with my needs. My application is "keep in the car for unexpected use." This is a great compromise between size when open and size when stored. Replaces a similar Totes brand I forgot and left 330 miles away. This one is as good or better than the Totes which was good.

It's pretty sturdy, pretty much exactly as described. has two layers/vent for the wind, which is what i really needed, and feels wellmade, has standard features like a button to open and close the umbrella, it's pretty much good for everyday travel. You might need a little strength pushing the umbrella and handle together but thats probably it? Works fine pushing it against a wall or something. I think it's worth it.

I recently purchased the Prostorm Windproof Vented Travel Umbrella for myself and a family member, and I have been thoroughly impressed with its performance. This umbrella truly lives up to its windproof claim and has become an essential item for any outdoor activity. The standout feature of the Prostorm umbrella is its exceptional windproof design. The vented canopy allows wind to pass through, preventing the umbrella from flipping inside out during strong gusts. I have used this umbrella during heavy rain and windy conditions, and it has held up remarkably well, providing reliable protection from the elements. The windproof feature gives me peace of mind, knowing that the umbrella will not fail when I need it the most. In addition to its windproof capabilities, the Prostorm umbrella is incredibly easy to use. The automatic open and close mechanism allows for quick deployment and convenient storage. This feature has been particularly useful when I need to quickly seek shelter from unexpected rain or wind. The ergonomic handle provides a comfortable grip, and the compact size makes it ideal for travel and daily use. The overall build quality of the Prostorm umbrella is impressive, and it has proven to be durable and long-lasting. The materials used are of high quality, and the construction feels sturdy and reliable. The canopy size is generous enough to provide ample coverage while remaining portable and lightweight. I highly recommend this umbrella to anyone in need of a reliable, durable, and user-friendly solution for staying dry and protected in challenging weather conditions. Whether for personal use or as a thoughtful gift, the Prostorm umbrella is an excellent choice for those seeking a high-quality travel accessory.

To heavy for old people

I pretty much have lost the strength in my hands, I ordered this umbrella not knowing what to expect, I actually love it, one button push open and close, plus it’s not a tiny flimsy thing.

I accidentally bought two of these umbrellas instead of one to take on a trip to Scotland, where I know it rains a lot and is very windy. After reading the reviews, it was hit and miss with people who loved it and people who had it break easily but decided to chance it and hope I got one of the good ones. However, I was one of those who had it break pretty much IMMEDIATELY. I received them both, opened one and it broke with the first use. I didn't even close it yet before it broke. The second one seemed promising. I opened it, pressed the button again to close it, pressed it again to open it, pressed it again to close it... and did this about 10 times and it seemed fine. I went to Scotland, it started raining at Urquhart Castle, I opened it, it stopped raining, I closed it, it started raining again within a few minutes, I opened it, and it broke... so I left it at the castle. At $20 each, you'd think they'd be made better. Now I've wasted $40 and only got to use one of them once. These umbrellas are really heavy, too, so I really hoped they'd be made sturdy enough. The string/wire inside them which pulls them down and opens them up just snaps so easily and makes these umbrellas absolutely useless.

I bought 3 for myself to keep in my workbag, vehicle and in the house. I also gave 3 of them as gifts to other people. Sturdy umbrella that allows for one-handed opening and closing. Will update later if I use it in the wind.Would buy from again.

Outstanding Umbrella Worth every penny. Excellent material and very sturdy. Happy with my Purchase.

Great umbrella - Great size when both open and closed. Only minor issue is that the wrist loop is very small and doesn't fit over my hand.

Excelente paraguas bonito diseño no se dobla con los vientos fuertes te protege bien de los rayos ultravioleta un poco caro de precio su mango es un poco pesado para sostenerlo ... recomiendo mango en forma de bastón curveado .

My Prostorm is constantly collapsing. I wanted to love this umbrella - and I do, when it is working properly. It’s sturdy and stands up to the wind. The problem is that the mechanism fails frequently so I’m frequently pushing the button to put it back up and getting very wet in the meantime.

Works really well and fits nicely in the car door pocket.
