Finishing Pads (De-nibbing Pads) - Used to Give Wooden Finishes a Perfectly Smooth Feel After the Application of an Oil or Varnish (5)

These are great. I used them for sanding oak veneered doors before applying, and in between coats of Osmo Door Oil. The pads worked really well, removing surface dirt and rough spots on the first go, and smoothing off between coats. They didn’t clog too quickly and the abrasive layers didn’t split or tear during use. I washed them out after first use and they were pretty much as good as new. They do take longer than expected to dry, I ended up pegging them on the washing line. All in all, a great product. It’s best to use Tack Cloths after sanding, there will be very fine particles of dust left behind. I recommend the Pro-Dec ones that you can also buy on Amazon.

Excellent pads, one pad de-nibbed 12x11ft room, prior to second coat of varnish. Throughly recommend.

Pads themselves are fine and reasonable quality but they are more abrasive than other 'finishing pads' (they grey ones) so it's worth noting this. These are probably slightly rougher than I would like for a true finishing pad but they did the job (very light sanding of oak banister between oil coats). I used an actual 'finishing pad' for the final pass.

Works well, leaves smooth finish

These were perfect for me to rub down some new unfinished oak interior doors I had ordered. Would recommend.

Did the job great

Having fitted new oak internal doors which required oiling, i bought these finishing pads to light rub the doors between coats. The size of the pads makes them perfectly useable and they stood up to this task perfectly.
