Drunk History: The Complete Series

Hilarious. Only one part bummed me out and that was when the mean chick talked smack about Jim Morrison. He was way cooler than she will ever be!

I'm a little confused about the last 2 discs

The drunk part is just funny (except for the occasional barfing) but for some people, this format makes learning about history easier to digest. While this shouldn't replace a formal education, it can give you a taste of things that you were definitely not taught truthfully in your younger years. It's thought provoking for sure and I absolutely recommend it, for those 21 and over haha

As a fan of both history and comedy, I was excited to dive into "Drunk History: The Complete Series." I wasn't disappointed - this show is an absolute riot. Each episode features a different comedian getting drunk and retelling a historical event, while actors reenact the story. It's a premise that could easily fall flat, but the show's creators have nailed the perfect balance of humor and education. One of the things I appreciated most about the series is that it doesn't shy away from difficult or obscure topics. I learned about everything from the Lewis and Clark expedition to the Stonewall riots, and each episode left me feeling like I had gained a deeper understanding of history. Of course, it's all presented through the lens of someone who's a few too many drinks in, so it's not always completely accurate - but that's part of the charm. The packaging of the DVD set is also great - it's easy to navigate and includes bonus features like behind-the-scenes footage and deleted scenes. Overall, I would highly recommend "Drunk History: The Complete Series" to anyone who loves to laugh and learn at the same time. It's a wild ride, but one that's worth taking.

I love these stories that are very well acted out by the story teller. When Derek Waters is a part of the reenactment, I enjoy them the most. I look forward to more seasons or more work completed by Derek Waters.

The first season is slow, but they get progressively better. Some later episodes are actually quite good.

The stories are based on true historical events portrayed in a funny way with lots of cameos. If you have a good sense of humour and you want to brush up on your history then this collection is for you!
