How do you use them? I can't find instructions. I've got a ton of windows to reglaze but no clue how to use the few glazier points I have...

Strong enough to go through vinyl?

That would depend on how thick the vinyl is. If you're trying to put a new piece of glass in a vinyl window frame I doubt it. The point itself is strong enough but you'd have to push it with a screwdriver, putty knife or some such tool and the tool would probably slip off the back edge of the point before you could push hard enough. Red Devil (and several other manufacturers) make points with little tabs that make them easier to push, but then they're harder to cover with glazing putty or molding. Good luck.

I have these 1710. They're too small for my needs. Does the 1722 have larger, longer points?
