KontrolFreek Performance Grips for PlayStation 5 (PS5) Controller (Nightfall Black)

I got these instead of replacing the controller shell to add some grip. This were much easier to install and they work well. The added padding is nice too.

Has great grip, feels great in my hand. Without them on, my palms would sweat and sometimes I would drop the controller after a long gaming session. It has a nice height to it so you can easily control and hit buttons without having to smash em. They are thick so they should last. Only con if you can say is when applying them if your not careful the tape will lock in.

Coming from an Xbox Elite Controller. The lack of such options for PS5 (at the time of this review being written) was disappointing. Thought this would be a good option to improve the comfort of the stock controller. SO GLAD I got these. They install super easy, just line them up and stick them on. You may get some slight bumps in spots when you stick the grips on. That isn't a reflection of their quality, but rather the natural outcome of sticking a flat object across a curved surface. The bumps are not noticeable and don't impact comfort or aesthetic in any way. Paired these with the analog stick extenders to elite-ify my stock PS5 controller. I used to hate the way the controller felt - now it's so comfortable I can't wait to pick it up! Great investment for any gamer, particularly if you have big hands.

Had this for awhile now. Good quality and works well. Though they are now coming off and the adhesive is a nuance. Gonna need some "goo gone" to get all the adhesive/residue off

Most comfortable grips I’ve had! (Quick tip: When installing start from the back of the controller!)

First off I will say these things are great. They take a little patience while applying, and you can see the slight wrinkles on the reserve side, but those are the only two real drawbacks for these guys, as long as you're not planning to take them off. Before I get into the removal I will say that they may be noticeable in the photo, but the slight wrinkling isnt noticeable by touch and it's on the back so doesn't bother me at all. I did have to remove one side of these from my original controller and it does leave the entire adhesive layer in your controller when you pull off the skin (at least it did on mine). However, with a little rubbing, and a tiny bit of GooGone, they look brand new. I was taking mine off because I had ripped a piece and was replacing it with a new one, so I figured all it did was give it more to stick to, but that is only the case for a little bit. I honestly thought I was being slick, saving time and adding more adhesive to the situation, but that just allows the piece to shift over a fairly short period of time. Make sure to clean it well before you add these. All in all I really like them. I replaced the back piece of my new camo controller with a "textured" shell that worked just a tad better than the stock when it comes to slipping off everything so, as you can see, I got a set for it and I'm totally happy with it covering part of the print. I think it looks great actually so yeah, get some!

Price at purchase: $15 Quality: Good Controller: PS5 Dualsense Edge The Kontrol Freak PS5 DualSense Grip was fairly easy to apply and covers a decent amount of the controller. Depending on placement, it can be a bit bumpy in places, but can mostly be smoothed out. The grips do stink, like new boots or rubber tires. This smell transfers ro hands, so it may help to wipe them off a bit with a damp cloth after applying. While the grips padding is nice, it's edges aren't tapered so you do feel the edges while using. It takes away from the otherwise good quality because you really don't want to feel anything other than a grip while playing. Overall it is decent, a bit much for some foam grips that will eventually peel due to edges. But if you want to protect your controller and get a better grip (especially for bubbling rubber pads), this is decent.

I love the grip on this things specially in intense moments when hans start sweating keeps your grip tight.

Was very happy bit after a while they began to separate and peel. Got a cheap brand for my new edge and they are half price and twice as good.

Easy to put on, adhesive sticks strong, cut to size to fit perfect, give the controller that little bit of extra grip, feels good.

Pas très évident a mettre en place (mais repositionnable), après 8 jours d'utilisation j'en suis très content, bon grip et très agréable en main, après plusieurs protection de manettes en silicone qui mon déçu, KontrolFreek Performance Grips c'est vraiment le top je recommande fortement malgré son prix un peut élevé
