How can i listen to my recording on my android phone. i can't find the device? i've tried 2 different phones and the result is the same.

Connect Android phone OTG function settings: ( If not, please try to better OTG accessories on the desktop smoothly to prevent the phone USB interface loose ) 1, before connecting the Android phone, please confirm that the Android phone has been opened OTG function, reference method: Settings - search for "OTG or USB", open OTG function, allow other devices to connect. 2, because each Android device model is different, the specific method to open OTG function can Google search or ask the phone manufacturer. 3, use OTG accessories to connect other U disk to check whether you can connect the U disk. 4, Please set the recorder [OFF] before connecting the Android phone, and find the USB in the file management.

Can I listen to the recording with any headphones plugged in?

No. the recorder can only be connected to 3.5mm headphone, other sizes of headphone jacks can not be matched with the line-control. The connection is as shown in the video.

Can I order a wire that goes from the device to the controller.
