StomaSafe Plus Ostomy/Hernia Support Garment Light by TYTEX (White, S/M) 33.5" - 44" Hip

I have purchased two of these(albeit from 2 different Amazon sellers) and am getting ready to order a third so that I don't have to keep the wife washing them every other day! I treat them just like normal underclothes, changing them daily. This support does a wonderful job of keeping the bag from chafing your skin, adds support that exceeds a strap belt, and stops the bag from pooching out thereby giving you a slimmer look and the ability to wear a tighter fitting shirt/top. Also for those intimate times, by angling your bag sideways, this wrap completely conceals the bag in a narrow profile just by the using an additional fold on it. As for its breath-ability, I have worn this to work on 90 degree plus days with no sweat or body discomfort from it. The only negatives I have with it is that when I first purchased it, I found the instruction sheet totally confusing, and it took my wife and I about 10 minutes to finally figure it out. I also caution that I have seen where it could (but hasn't happened yet to me) catch on an object if you are pressed up against something as in leaning over a desk to reach an item, if you have a light enough shirt/top on. One disappointment that I have is that the seller of this item is claiming that they are not aware of it being available in different colors when in fact the actual article bag shows two other color options available, and those colors would be most welcome to a lot of customers like myself.

Comfy, adds support, keeps the bag hidden. This is not a restrictive spandex, it has a soft yet supportive stretch & is easy to "access" without removing (there is an area in the hem that was purposely left un-stitched, where the tail sits- it acts like a shelf, so that it doesn't touch the skin & can be accessed when needed...)

I do wish it was a little tighter. It falls down a lot.

I have a permanent ostomy since 2014. I just found out about these wraps in the past I tried using belly bands but my pouch would leak cause of the pressure it wasn’t made for it. I love this wrap. I bought two so far. I bought a medium then I wanted a tighter one so I bought a small one too. I step into it pull it up, put my pouch through the hole pulled the second layer down then put the end of the pouch into the holding spot at the bottom. I Never had a problem with it, even with air in the bag and it ballooning no fear it going to bust, the price is great. I wish I had these a lot sooner thats for sure. I can wear short shirts and you will only see the bottom of the wrap.

Very minimal support

I LOVE this product!! I can't wait to order a couple more! I mean, i can't imagine my life without having this, which is weird since that was a whopping 10- 12 days ago. But going anywhere without wearing this just feels weird now because it works so fabulously. So I'm working on my budget to make sure to order a couple more come payday. I wish I had known about these a year ago! I'm no longer embarrassed about going grocery shopping, let alone everything else. I feel like I can be an active member of society again! There are very few things in this world that can grab my attention as thoroughly as this has, but if you have a colostomy bag, I have to tell you - YOU WANT THIS PRODUCT!!!

Provided decent support, but ultimately wasn't wearable for more than an hour because the material isn't breathable. No matter what the temperature is outside, you body generates heat, and if you have something wrapped tight against your body, it has to be able to breathe. Otherwise you just end up a sticky, sweaty mess!

It’s really soft & I like that it mostly separates the pouch from my body, that feels good. It rolls down from the top & up from the bottom. The soft fabric doesn’t do a thing for smoothing or camouflaging the bulk of an empty pouch much less one with any output. This only adds more bulk...bummer. I am 130# & 5’2.5” & I ordered a small/medium. See photos. (Last photo is after sitting for a meal. Sorry for gross pic!)

Yes these will work well ... I’ve tried on washed and dried one it did not shrink and came out same size as unworn unwashed ones . I bought one in each colour .

Although my Son has a 32" waist I bought the smaller size.. It's stretches.. Also I wash it in Cold water and hang to dry.

Die Binde fängt nach 2 Monaten an, sich an einer Nahtstelle zu trennen. Die Qualität lässt zu wünschen!

Leider hat diese Binde die nicht sehr stark ist, bei mir nichts bewirkt. Daher hab ich sie wieder weg gelegt. Im Sanitätshaus wird so etwas angepasst, ist halt was medizinisches.
