Lenovo Tab 3 8, 8'' HD IPS Tablet (MediaTek™ 1.0 GHz Quad-Core, 1GB, 16GB, Android 6.0), Black ZA170001US

I have been very pleased with this product. I use this to provide background rain/nature sounds for sleep. The sound is loud enough for this size tablet and clear enough that I don't hear a lot of distortion (as I did with some older tablets). However, I do not have it on at the highest volume. I haven't noticed any huge lags when tapping on the screen - it isn't instantaneous like my more expensive phone but it definitely is fast enough. I felt the screen was a good size and clarity for reading online books - haven't tried it yet outside. Also have not tried playing games During setup, the set up wizard made it easy to transfer settings and data from my android phone. For my needs this tablet is perfect.

In short, you get what you pay for. This is not a top of the line tablet, and there are times when the processor chugs for a minute and it freezes or lags. Not every app or web page renders or responds quickly. That said, I have had very few issues overall (primarily what appear to be Android system quirks) and am loving this tablet. It does exactly what I needed it for (managing some work documents on the go), plus some extra (easily able to set up a "business" and a "personal" account to keep things organized and great for light leisure use). As long as you recognize it is not going to be as fast or fancy as a $200+ tablet, it's a great device.

This android mashmellow Lenovo tablet is highly recommended to anyone who wants a reliable small low cost 8 inch tablet. Set up was quick and trouble free. So far everything mentioned in other good reviews, can be confirmed, except longevity as I only received it yesterday. Updated: Feb 20, 2017. Now that I have had this tablet for a few months, I can confirm my first review but must add the problems of setting up the device which was difficult and rather complicated because I am not used to android Mashmellow. The only physical difficulty was inserting the SD card, which became dislodged from its position after a while making me wonder if it had failed. This was discovered after verifying through the settings that it did not exist. It showed up after reinstalling it and is now working. Updated: Feb 25, 2017. Same problem repeated itself. SD card again disappeared. Contacted Lenovo explaining the problem of losing SD card. They requested I send the tablet back for inspection as it may be a problem with the SD card slot. After sending me a laundry list of things to do before sending it back, besides having to pay for the shipping cost to return it, I decided to give up as it is not worth all the effort. If problem continues again after reinserting the SD card for the final time, I will throw the tablet away. I cannot reach them to let them know of my decision of not sending it back for inspection and repair. Final update: April 14 2017 Over all the tablet works: Negative: (1): Boots with loud sound that annoys. Contacted Lenovo but was told that it cannot be cancelled or minimized. (2): Slow startup and switching apps. Positive (1): Sounds great with speakers (2): Picture quality good. Updated: Mar 3, 2017 Totally surprised this morning to finding after searching the Internet, pages of reports of same problem on Lenovo android 6 tablets. Lenovo may not even be aware of this issue believing it may be a problem with my unit, when they asked me to send it back for inspection. The wider issue should be investigated and action taken to correct it. Another brand is also having the same problem. The real issue is the SD card disappears and is no more shown under 'storage' under 'settings' with a request "reinsert SD card." After reinserting SD card corrects the problem, but this happens again. This happened without me knowing this was happening. That may be why it took so long for me to set it up. to "resert SD card" after it disappears when you search "Storage" under "settings." Updated: March 10 2017 Lost my SD card again under "storage" in "settings" This is the end of my patience with the Lenovo tablet. Update: March 16 2017 Finally good news!!! May have found the cause of the problem which haunted losing the SD card storage. Replaced the SD card with another 64 Gb SD card. For one week the problem did not show up. Only one minor irritation left. The tablet plays a notification when it is booting up and there is no way to delete it or reduce the volume. Some users have also asked for help but it is too minor a problem no way to remove the notification or to minimize the volume.

I would have given it negative star if that was possible. Bought it for my husband on valentines day. He used it for 1 week and now I am returning it. It worked well for a few days then it started lagging. Press the home button and wait 10 solid minutes for it with only Facebook app running. It is so frustrating. It is impossible to use. Very very disappointed.

It's a wonderful little tablet in every way, except painfully slow. Its' so bad I'm going to return it.

Delightful tablet for a delightful price. I opted for the 8 inch instead of the 7 inch version because it's slightly bigger but still fits into the inside pocket of a coat or jacket, it has a newer OS and it comes with better speakers. For a casual user like me, this is the cat's meow.

We use these tablets for a small hospital, they run very well, have good cameras and the battery lasts almost all day under extreme use! We purchased these from Supreme Deals 18 and are very happy with our purchase!

Solid construction, good quality display and audio. I agree with others that the tablet is a little slow in response. I have not had any problems with freezing, as reported by others, although the screen occasionally switches off when I am using.Kindle Overall this is good value for an inexpensive 8 inch tablet

Buena tableta para su precio (pague 2,000 aprox), buen diseño y con 16 de interna da batalla en almacenamiento, su desempeño no es tan bueno, aveces se atora al cambiar de aplicaciones. Para lo que ocupan los niños esta bien.

Lenovo TB3-850F (ZA170001US) tablet atractiva por su pantalla HD IPS con resolucion 1280 x 800, de rendimiento regular, mejorará si se le coloca una microSD de hasta 64Gb. Sólo puede accesar a internet a través de WiFi y no tiene ranura para SIM, por lo que no pude ser utilizada como smartphone. En ocasiones se volverá lenta por lo que es recomendable para aquellos que le darán poco uso y sólo la utilizaran para leer y ver pocas cosas en Internet.

En teoría debería ser un buen valor por tu dinero, pero como pasa con casi todos los productos que tienen android, está pésimamente optimizado el so con el hardware, la tableta es lenta hasta llegar al punto de la desesperacion y en ocasiones simplemente inutilizable, no la recomiendo ni para un niño

Excelente tablet, versión reciente de Android, la 6.0, me encanta la función de perfil para niño con el que se pueden poner límites de horarios, tiempo y aplicaciones a usar por el menor. Es un producto pensado en el entretenimiento, juegos sencillos, Netflix, Facebook, YouTube, hace el momento agradable a adultos y niños. Funciona bien el WiFi, la batería dura varias horas. Obvio que no es tan rápida como una iPad pero cuesta 4 a 5 veces menos, aún así desempeña bastante aceptable. Simplemente es una compra inteligente. Mi única observación es que yo pagué en junio 2017, $1,800 más costo de aduana de $300, ahora veo que el precio base es de $1,000 más, supongo que por la popularidad del producto porque el Dólar ya estaba caro desde entonces.
