Whether it’s DIY or in an automotive garage, this stuff is amazing and the gloss was like a mirror. I will admit when I use the 2K clear gloss acrylic. It changed the nature of the texture, but that could be the way it came out based on my distance of the spray. Hoping that helps.

Good works as it should

I wanted to like this spray paint, but it was a bit disappointing. The gloss black colour looks okay, but the spray came out too drippy for me. Even when trying to do lighter coats, it still wanted to run and made the finish harder to control. It might be fine for a quick job where the finish does not have to be perfect, but I would not use it for anything that needs a clean smooth look. For the price, I expected it to spray a little more evenly.

Our leased Lincoln came with real basic 19-inch aluminum rims. Most of the packages had painted black "pockets" or whatever. Our just looked very basic. So I bought a few cans of this and some clearcoat and painted them. I cleaned them first, then used a scotchbrite pad to scuff them, then cleaned them again. It has been 5 summer months as they still look perfect. We will see how winter and road salt affect them. I know it is a leased car, so I expect to do a recoat at lease turn-in in two years. But happy so far.
