We installed all new mini split units at an 18 unit apartment building. Some idiot at the job lost all of the remotes after getting permits signed off by the City. The units were mostly Samsung and a few Daikin wall units. I tried several different remotes and I concluded that these were the best replacements. Here is why: 1) BIG buttons and easy to read display 2) Easy to connect by holding the SET button for a few seconds and the AC units auto-synced to the remotes 3) Nice size remote is harder to lose. 4) They come with batteries 5) They come with a wall mounted holder......nice. 6) Good beeping sound...loud and clear 7) Price is very reasonable 8) Well made...doesn't feel cheap 9) Can switch between F and C....nice 10) Has dual IR Sensors...has good range 11) Looks nice mounted on the wall I highly recommend these remotes (Assuming they meet your particular unit needs).

Good universal remote control , was able to control goodman mini split unit, only downside is you can not set precise temp since it jumps temp by digits

My mini split aurus was not in the code list. I programed it just by presing the set button until my unit made a biping noise and then pressed set again that easy.

Nice remote, but apparently I have the one percent that does not work. Would be nice if they listed my “Traiden” manufacturer on the description as not compatible so I don’t waste time buying and having tie return. I don’t find out until I opened it and saw my manufacturer is not listed on the codes.

We moved into a new house with a Haier mini-split in the room over the garage. No remote. After this arrived, I turned on the unit manually using the black button located under the hood. It is recessed, so I had to use a stick to press it. The remote comes with a little booklet containing the code for the Haier. I used the arrows to set it to the appropriate code. After that, I could adjust the temperature and turn it off/on with ease.

I have a Frederich mini-split. The Amazon description says that this will operate a Frederick but the instructions say "Fiedrich". No matter, the darned thing would not sync with my units. I didn't return, just chunked it in the trash. Another loss to me when attempting to buy aftermarket products.

So far has worked with every brand of mini split Ive tried on. (AUX, mirage, mitsibushi, and aurus)

I wanted a bigger display that is easier to read. It can perform a code search or there are code reference numbers in the manual, but mine needed no programming for my mini split. Out of the box it is preset to Gree. Gree made the Mirage brand before Media acquired them. It has about 75% of the features of the original remote. The main important ones are there. Research your brand to find the parent company that makes them, and you'll have better luck with remotes. If you have a mexico import Mirage X32 like me, this is a great option. I mounted the holder to the side of my nightstand with a couple Command adhesive strips, it's handy and always there.

Opened the box. Put the 2 included AA batteries into the remote. Turned on the mini split at the wall. Pressed and held the fan button in the remote until the AC turned itself off with a beep at the wall. Then it showed the code on the display and I wrote that code down for future reference with a Sharpie on the back of the remote. I stuck the holder onto to the wall with four command strips. To set the time, hold "set" and "mode" buttons at the same time and then use temp up and down buttons to change the hour and minute. Easily changes from C to F by pressing the C/F button. Works the same as the original remote for the Daikin, but this cost $30 bucks vs. $600 for the original Daikin replacement at the dealer. I'm gonna get a second one just as a backup for the price you cannot go wrong. Original Daikin remote was left on the woodstove and got melted.
