They don't have a strong taste to them or smell I like them. Also. They're good for your dogs and my dog likes them also Good price. Good taste

An ok food item . Like alot of people, I feed them to my doggie too. He loves some of this tuna and sardines...even if it has no discernible flavor to me. Americans are not big on sardines but I've always eaten them. And get all my vitamins included. That's probably the only reason to it them! Omega 3 and 6 improve brain function and processes.

They’re perfect straight out of the can, I typically just eat them out of the can or fry them in a pan with a little butter they taste great!! or you could toss into a salad, or paired with some crackers for a light lunch or you could mash them up with a little lemon juice and spread them on toast—delicious! Nutrition-wise, these are a win. With 12g of protein per serving, they’re a great way to fuel up, especially since I’ve been trying to stick to a keto-friendly diet. They’re also gluten-free, which is a bonus for anyone with dietary restrictions. I feel good knowing they’re wild-caught too—quality matters, and these deliver. The packaging is super convenient. The 3.75 oz cans are just the right size for a single serving, and the pack of 12 means I’m stocked up for weeks. I’ve used them and been quite satisfied for many months. However, the last two tins I’ve opened—two of my last order— hardly looked like sardines. One of them looked like packaged remnants of sardines, and the other one was tiny fish with the same stuff around them. I have four more tins from that order. If they are the same my rating goes to two stars and I switch brands.

Good quality sardines with a nice taste. The portion size is convenient and the fish tastes fresh. Simple and tasty option to keep in the pantry.

Once again, lesson re-learned: You get what you pay for. Or in this case, you pay for sardines, but you don't even get "Sprats." First of all, this is absolute false advertising as these are not Sardines, but as the ingredients in the fine print on the can say, they are Sprats. Sprats are a different species and are smaller and mushier than sardines. The Sprats come out of the can more like chum... primarily mushy broken bits of fish and who knows what else. Fortunately, I love pretty much any kind of seafood that you put in front of me, so I'm pouring it into a bowl and treating it a bit like a fishy stew thing. However, if you are not a fan of sardines, or you don't like very fishy mushy tasting seafood, or you are trying out what you thought were sardines for the first time, these would be the last can of a fishy concoction that I would recommend you order. The other thing I noticed is that the cholesterol, when accounted for equal weight, is about three times higher than Wild Planet sardines. This is likely due to the inferior type of fish product that Beach Cliff is harvesting... or, they're just making up the numbers as they go along. If I was looking for a fishy mushy mix to add to my dogs kibble, or if I was out chumming for larger fish, this stuff would be ideal. But I will never purchase this fish mush again.

These sardines are a great value for the price, but they are small and mushy in the can. The taste was a little off simply because they were so mushy and don’t have much texture to them. Perhaps I’m comparing them to the sardines I grew up with, but the quality overall is less than what I’m used to.

Excellent and exactly what I had hoped for as I only eat wild caught Sardines and prefer them in water not oil! As far as I am concerned you can't go wrong with this!

Taste is excellent

For everyday, these are good and sit within a reasonable budget - Heat and Eat, as is, lots of goodness in the bones and skin - serve on a piece of lightly pan toasted sourdough, or two, in EVOO - Extra Virgin Olive Oil - and if really hungry, place on a bed of crushed avocado and top with a runny egg cooked in the same oil, squeeze of lemon, ground Salt n Pepper. Lovely! The stars are based on quality tier rather than personal taste - Nuri and Carmelo are two top tier brands worth 5 stars!
