ARIAT Small Stained Wood Boot Jack with Padded Edge

This was a gift, it was nicely made works well, very easy to use

I got my first pair of cowboy boots and had no idea how to remove them. After a struggle in which my husband helped drag them from my feet, I went to the web to learn what I had done wrong. What I discovered is boot jacks. After a lot of looking I got this one for several reasons. One is the felt area that the heel goes into. I spent a bit of money on my boots and did not want them scuffed. The second reason was the solid wood construction. I read a lot of reviews about seams scratching boots and jacks splitting in half because it was two pieces pressed together. This is a solid piece of wood for the jack shape. The leg that holds it up is another solid piece. It does not seem to be the strongest connected thing but it does not appear to be loose. The felt is stapled on along the top and bottom. None of the staples are near the leather of the boot. The foot piece has leather on it. The Ariat symbol is stapled on leather as well. It works as expected. I was able to easily slip my boots off all on my own. This thing should be automatically suggested with cowboy boots for anyone buying them.

IDK how I went my whole life without a boot jack...it's so helpful for removing zipperless fitted boots!

I ordered this for my husband for Father’s Day. He had recently bought his first pair of cowboy boots. We were skeptical of the “small” description. I read reviews of this product and decided to buy it. It’s perfect for removing both his and my boots! He wears a size 11 and it removes his boots with ease!

What I didn't like is the designation this item is size "small." Many if not most people think that means it will only work on small boots, such as a children or women's boots. This is not the case. "Small" merely distinguishes it from the physical difference in dimensions of Ariat's larger boot jack and has nothing to do with the size of the boot it can pull. It actually easily works well on large boots. My boot size is eleven and it works as well as the plastic Job Site and Boot Hunter boot pullers except for two things-- this Ariat boot jack is not plastic and seems sturdier. OK, a third thing-- I think it looks a heckuva lot better than the plastic ones if you plan on leaving it out by the front door, for example. Just eyeballing the Ariat and Job Site pullers, they appear to be the exact same size. This item is the type of quality, design and construction characteristic of the Ariat brand. Unfortunately for whoever is selling this item on amazon I'm guessing sales are lost from people thinking a "small" won't work on their boots. Fortunately for me, I took a chance it would work on my large boots and got a good product at a great price.

Great way to quickly remove cowboy boots.

Ariat Jack - is study and does the job well. I have been using everyday since its arrival. And will repurchase again as gifts. Very satisfied!

Ariat Boot Jack met my expectation. OMG at first site I thought this is so small, how will it help to get my boot off. I was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to remove boot, without fuss. Very little effort. I love it, best buy.
