Rust-Oleum Universal All Surface Metallic Spray Paint, Turquoise

Cheaper than buying it at the box store. The tops leak a bit while spraying, so wear latex or nitrile gloves if you don't want paint on your hands. The spray is even and it covers well. We bought this paint (and a lot of it!) to refinish 100 year old cast iron radiators. Once we stripped them to bare metal, we painted them with this paint, then dry-brushed copper over them to get a nice antique oil-rubbed bronze look. Sealed them with a couple coats of spray lacquer and they're pretty and durable. Should last another 100 years - long after I'm gone.

I bought this spray paint hoping to give an old white garden pedestal a completely different look, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with the results. I have a bronze lion statue that sits on my front porch, but the pedestal I purchased for it was bright white. It looked completely out of place. One coat of this hammered bronze spray paint transformed it into what looks like a matching bronze pedestal, and now it looks like they were sold together! I recently picked up some spray paint to touch up a few spots on my lanai that had faded from sun exposure, and I have to say, it turned out to be a perfect match for the original color. The application process was a breeze; I didn’t experience any splattering while I was spraying, which made it super easy to work with. Plus, it dried really fast and blended in beautifully, leaving no visible lines or patches. Overall, I’m really pleased with how it turned out!

I used this to try to get a pearl shine on my golf cart body. It has a great color and when I get it thick enough it looks great, but it takes a ton of coats to get to a good base coat. I didn’t have any issues that others had where the cans leaked and ran down the side. To me, it was just very thin and streaky. I’m on about double the cans as I’ve used before to paint carts. Again color is awesome and very comfortable to use.

Quality product 1 can of this is my personal favorite for Hubcaps and rally wheels is TITANIUM SILVER bright clean appearance. I always add a few coats of universal rust-oleum clear coat after paint dries. This can is for my Toyota scion xB factory caps they should look great.

I’ve been using this paint for well over 5 years and I’ve purchased at least 10-15 cans of this paint. Anything metal that I purchase and plan to place outdoors gets a coat of this paint. Purchased a new black stone grill few months back. First thing I did after putting it together was coat it in this paint. Haven’t had it fail yet, holds the color and doesn’t fade. I use spray away glass cleaner to remove oil and residue, let it dry then paint. Great stuff

The can it shows in this review is not the one I’m reviewing. It keeps going to this color when I am reviewing the Pearl Mist that I also ordered. This Dark Cherry is a good color and I had no issues with it. I am updating my Christmas tree ornaments and wanted to freshen up the pearl ones. I could not find the color I need locally so I ordered the Pearl Mist. This paint is more clear with a little sheen to it. Not what I wanted. I’ve used this type of spray paint many times before. This can looked perfectly fine until I was shaking it and it started running down the can and splattering everywhere. Along with continuing to barely spray for a few minutes even tho my finger was not on the button, getting the spray everywhere. Needless to say it’s not usable. I may can get enough out to use a brush with it on something else. I think I’ll shop locally for paints so I can see the color and can deal with problems in person.

So I bought this for my suspension parts on my jeep. They are Metalcloak and have a zinc coating wich looks gold. Mine have taken a beating and needed a little TLC. This rattle can paint is spot on looks exactly like the zinc coating. It has the primer in it so it goes on easy and is of great quality. This also matches the gold decals I have so win win. Definitely recommended. Painted my grill inserts to.

Works well and looks great. Have stocked up on this.

Make sure to use outside, or in a well ventilated space. I made the mistake of using inside, and boy oh boy, the smell was so strong, and lasted for days.

The paint seems to be old. Each coat took about a week to dry after painting even after painting in very thin coats.
