Seems to work well, I’ll update on it’s durability easy install
I do recommend this product. It seems to work well I’ll update on its battery life. Let’s see if it last longer than the generic one that I bought 2 months ago which was garbage it broke after only 1 month of use. This one was easy to install i replaced a cheaper one that broke very quickly; it seems to work much better than my last generic model I bought here on Amazon.

Works mint!!
This worked great. I have a champion 3400 generator inverter and it would not start my 13500 btu dometic brisk air 2. At first I thought it was my generator not putting out enough watts but I tested some other things and was able to put out up to 3200 running watts. Turns out my ac pulls up to 8000 watts on start up for that split second and was overloading my generator. Very frustrating because it's the whole reason I bought the 3400. I did alot of research and read about capacitors and how they work. From what I understand these newer air conditioners come with very small hard start capacitors. I'm sure they do it to try and save on costs. So I figured for 13 bucks it's worth a try. Installation is very easy you just piggy back it to your stock hard start capacitor it plugs right in. The hardest thing for me was trying to figure out where to mount it. Anyways my generator now barely throttles up when I start my ac. I can even start my ac on econ mode on my generator. I also tried my buddies honda 2000 and it started right up. You wouldn't be able to run much more but it did start it and ran my ac just fine. So do your research because this saved me tons of money I was pretty close to buying another generator to pair up with my original. Make sure you look at your compressor on your ac. The lra on mine was like 67 that's your starting amps. 67 amps times 120 volts equals 8040 watts. I don't know for sure how much the spp6 cut my starting watts down but it has to be under 2000 watts. I highly recommend.

Works great, and very easy to install
My outside AC unit (14 years old) was not working correctly - the compressor was not coming on, and the fan required me to push it to get it going. These symptoms are usually associated with a bad capacitor, and I ordered a new one. I also found out about this product, which gives existing capacitors extra power on startup, so I ordered this as well. The hard start relay came first, so I hooked it up to my old capacitor, and just this addition was able to get everything working. When my new capacitor arrived, I installed that, and kept the hard start relay hooked up. My AC unit fires right up, just like it was brand-new, and everything is working as well as it did when it was brand-new. Although I technically did not need this hard-start relay, but I think that leaving it in will extend the life of the capacitor by helping ouyt with teh compressor startup (which puts the most strain on the capacitor. overall, I'm very happy with the product, and saved thousands of dollars by not having to buy a new AC unit.
