Fun and good quality punching bag :-)
Let's face it... It's good to have an outlet and sometimes you have boring days at work while other days are crazy and stressful. Sometimes it's good to come home and just let it all out on something. That's what this punching bag is for. Well... not only that but it's a great workout too! I have only owned this punching bag for a few weeks and I use it about once per week. I filled the base with water and it's fairly stable. Hard jabs make it tilt and move slightly but that is to be expected. Very difficult to tip over this unit unless you run at it and tackle it. The bag tends to rotate and get loose in the base after hitting it for a few minutes so I have to rotate it back the other direction to tighten it up a bit. No biggie. I like the amount of play designed into the punching bag as it reduces the impact on your hands and wrists. This bag is best suited in a basement or garage and it makes a fair amount of noise when you hit it hard. It seems to be holding up quite well so far (just slightly wrinkled where I usually hit it) and the base is made from thick and sturdy plastic. Overall, I am satisfied with this purchase!

Look no further, this is the one you want!
I took a kick boxing class with bags like this and fell in love. I can't find time to actually go to the gym anymore, so I started looking for a bag to have at home. I looked, researched, and read reviews for a month or more. Nothing compared to this bag! Other bags are too light, too small, you need a big awkward stand to hang them from. A lot of bags will settle and get lumps if you don't pay attention to the material that's inside of it. This bag is freestanding, which means it takes up a few feet of room, and that's it. The foam on the inside of the part that you hit is incredibly durable. The bag is big enough that my husband and I can hit and kick at the same time and not hit each other. There is just a ton of surface area! When I wrap my arms around it as far as I can reach, I am over 6" from touching my hands. My husband and I hit it a couple times a week, my kids beat on it daily (5 of them). They even run and slam themselves into it to see if they can knock it over, they can't, and it's only filled with water, but it's very sturdy. It still looks great, no sagging, bumps, or lumps. I was nervous paying so much for something online that I needed so much from, but I am so glad I did! If you have any questions feel free to ask, I will help any way I can. I believe this is a superior product!

Great Bag
I like this bag a lot. Since it is upstairs in my bonus room, I opted to fill it with sand instead of water, just in case it ever sprung a leak. It was quite a job to fill with sand. I used Quickcrete Play Sand that I bought at Lowe's in 50lb bags for $2.88/bag (~$20 total for 6 bags). I used a funnel and scooped it out of the bag into the funnel. The sand builds up in that area and you have to tilt the base to the other side to move the sand around. It gets harder and harder to tilt for filling once you have so much in there. I ended up having to get my husband to tilt it for me after about the 200 lb mark. He was at work for the last 50 lb and I used a mini baseball bat to stick in the whole and move the sand around. I large stick would also work. I put 200 lbs of sand at first, and I could still knock the bag down. I put another 100 lbs in (300 lbs total) and it's satisfactory. It still slides a bit but I can't knock it down. I don't think I could fit any more sand in there. These are also the same bags we use at my dojo, filled with water. I don't think they are completely full, or maybe some water evaporated over the years. You can hear it sloshing around when it's kicked hard enough to tilt the bag. There are also plenty of people at the dojo who have no trouble kicking these completely over (including myself) so they probably need to be refilled. They seem to be very durable. We have had three of these bags for over 8 years and only one of them has broken. The connector from the base to the bag broke in half and needs replacement. I asked my Sensei about purchasing one from his supplier and he couldn't get a cheaper price (I paid $300).

Good punching bad, minor problems
The punching bag itself is good though there are small things that makes this rated a Four rather than a Five. Lets first start of and say that this punching bag can take a lot of punches (a lot!), it has already been a month or two and it is still in very good shape. The assembly is easy, put the bottom piece where you plain the punching bag will be (with the smaller bottom under it), fill it with (preferably) sand and screw in the top which is all a one man job, one does not require help when assembling this bag. It is what you expect a punching bag is and with its height you are able to have more of a surface area to punch, kick, elbow, knee, hip-thrust, whatever. Though because this is a punching bag that is attached with a screw like method (twist off, twist on) a hook can loosen the punching itself and one will sometime find themselves re-screwing the punching bag. This is not a severe problem. A hook is not going to completely unscrew the tower from the base, I ensure you that it is attached well. One more problem which will most likely occur if per-say you are a boxer who can throw a heavy punch though is fixable. With a strong punch the bag will be tilted though not knocked down completely. My brother who is a +200 Lbs boxer is able to throw the punching bag off its balance. Though this had happen due to only filling the base with 170-200 sand, which is not it's maximum weight limit (which is 270 I believe). But as I said earlier if you are strong enough you will move this bag though it is not tedious. Overall this punching bag is great, the problems are minuscule and do not bother me personally. It can endure a lot of abuse (verbal and physical, wait what?) and is just overall what you would expect from a punching bag, honestly recommend it to people if their looking for a punching bag and do not have the right environment for a free-standing-punching bag. Hoped this helped.

Best option for freestanding bag
As other reviewers have said before, this type of heavy bag cannot replace a hanging heavy bag. Hanging heavy bags are almost always better for reasons I won't get into here, but if you can't hang a bag then this is the best freestanding bag that I've used and is worth buying. It's taller and wider than others and the base can hold 250 lbs of sand so it doesn't move easily. Plus the bag is long so you can practice low kicks without having to make any adjustments. The bag seems well made but maybe a little thin on the outside. I was worried it would tear but so far it's fine. One thing that bothers me is that, even though the bag is larger than others of this type, there's still not enough padding between the plastic core and the outside surface. With 4 oz gloves you will definitely feel that plastic core on your knuckles if you hit hard so heavy bag gloves are still recommended here. Also, I think the price should be a little less. I don't see what makes this so expensive. A B.O.B. bag costs about the same and those seem like they would be much more expensive to manufacture. I read a few reviewers saying that this is impossible to knock over, which isn't true. It's very hard to knock over but possible with a side kick. And it does slide a little even from jabs but not as bad as smaller freestanding bags. I'd like to have a hanging bag but this will do just fine. Plus it's portable.

Great bag!
I'd been taking a kickboxing fitness class, but wanted to be able to work out at home since my work hours don't always sync up with the class hours. This bag is exactly what I was looking for. It was easy to set up. The bag basically screws into the base. You tighten the bag into the base just a bit (upright, not on its side or anything), then you fill the base with water or sand, and then you finish tightening the bag into the base. I bought mats to place the bags on and so I could workout barefoot easily. Apparently I'm stronger than I thought because even with the base filled, the bag would scoot around a lot. So I bought some of that rubber grippy stuff you can line cabinet shelving with and stuck it under the base. Doesn't scoot as much now. I absolutely love this bag. It's as nice as what I was using in class. It's an investment in myself and I'm so glad I bought it!

Great customer service, sturdy. Good quality
So I’ve been wanting a freestanding bag for quite a while, had a few bad experiences with some other companies... that is not the case with this product. I was worried because unfortunately the first one I received was damaged. It was ripped at the seam. From the second I contacted the seller they were kind and helpful. We were able to exchange the damaged one. And I have to say I’m in love with this bag! I’m getting excellent workouts and it’s really therapeutic! It’s easier to put together with someone to help, but that’s also probably because I’m short. It is sturdy. I filled my base with water since I have to be able to move it around. If you are shopping around I highly recommend this product!

Great kickboxing bag - identical to studio bags
I used to take Ilovekickboxing classes and did them for about a year. Since the classes became so expensive, I stopped and then I decided to get my own bag and do workouts at home. Not only because of COVID, but also to get back into kickboxing again. This bag is almost identical to the ones the studio used. Some tips, make sure the bag is screwed into the base solidly so it doesn't move around as much, fill the base with water (or sand), almost to the top as it helps keep the bag from moving, add a foam mat underneath to protect the base (i used those puzzle foam tiles and made a mini mat for it). Overall great back, and good for my height of 5ft and my boyfriends height of 6' 2". Takes a punch well and feels solidly built. Great purchase for kickboxing/boxing enthusiasts.

Excellent Customer Service
The bag itself is good, easy to put together. However, it was their customer service that was outstanding! I had received a mismatching upper bag and lower base, two different models. They responded quickly, and they sent a matching base for the upper bag! Also, no hassle in returning the other base!

EVERYTHING YOU WANT IN A BAG
Was a little concerned when I ordered the Wavemaster XXL at how much movement there would be but after reviewing countless videos I’m so glad I chose this particular bag. Some movement is a good thing and you can either use this for a good training workout or/and for heavy hitting. Very pleased
