I volunteered to make some buttons for our Parent Teacher Club so I scoured the web for a reasonably priced button maker that would also function well enough. This is one of the lower priced units, plus it came with supplies to make 100 buttons. After reading the 1-star reviews, I was fully prepared to have troubles operating it, but the first one I attempted came out perfectly. Everything set, and the end result was great. I went on to make 10 total, and out of that, 2 failed. I’m certain it was user-error, but I’m not 100% sure what I did wrong. I did notice the metal backing sometimes stick together, and dropping them on the table allowed them to separate. It very well could be that the first one I made had two metal backings but I didn’t know it. It could also be that I simply didn’t press hard enough. Either way, a loss of 2 out of 10 was acceptable to me, given this is the first time I’ve ever used a button making machine. I would say it takes some practice to get the right feel. I’m currently trying to figure out how to align the pin correctly as it seems no matter how hard I try, it ends up crooked. Good thing I have supplies for 90 more buttons to perfect my process.

I absolutely LOVE this button maker! I used it to create custom “Science Fair Participant” buttons, and it made the whole process so smooth and fun. As you can see, I was able to make a whole batch quickly—and they turned out super professional-looking! it’s alright, but make sure you double and even triple check that the little pieces of paper and clear seal are not stuck together in twos (example shown in second photo) it’s very easy to miss so just please make sure they are not stuck together. this is one mistake I made and I thought it was broken, but you HAVE to make sure that there is no clear paper and no normal white paper sticking together or else your buttons wont press. also note that you have to press down extremely hard to ensure the buttons are going to be made properly, especially when putting the back of the button on you have to really push the handle down super hard and sometimes listen for a noise. if you want to put a little paper or drawing on top of the white paper (such as the rainbow pin in the photo) it’s not going to seal properly, so use either an extremely thin paper or don’t put anything ontop of the white paper at all, that is if you use it. printing out a design works fine too, but make sure its from the printer or it wont press down due to the thick size of it. you probably will mess up your first or second try and it might be frustrating but don’t give up because it will end up working after awhile. thank you <3

I really should have sucked it up and paid for a machine that made multiple size buttons. I thought I could just order an insert piece and have options, but this this machine is not adaptable (my fault for not researching more). The button maker itself is actually easy to use and makes really great buttons. The button pieces, though, are less than par - the plastic backs just don't hold the metal badge top very well. My daughter has made at least half of the quantity of buttons, and all of them have popped apart; they just don't hold up well. Mostly, they are attached to her backpack, and she is not the gentlest slinging it around, but 100% of the buttons made have broken. This tells me the quality or compatibility of the materials is terrible. I plan to purchase all metal backs and try them to see if they hold better - my guess is that they will. If they don't, then the machine just doesn't give enough pressure to secure the top to the bottom sufficiently.

This button maker was easy to assemble. However, it did not come with any directions to design buttons, so it took me several tries getting the right size made on my software and pressing the buttons for them to look right. After several attempts and failed buttons made finally mastered the art of button making through trial and error. Wish there would have been directions on design. A 3 inch button maker does not necessarily mean you design your inserts with a 3 inch template. Quality has been good, but with it being plastic, i feel like it could break easily if you press too hard. Because it’s made of plastic it made this button maker, more lightweight, and easy to pick up and move.

This button maker was such a fun experience to use! I made Disney inspired buttons for my daughter’s first birthday and chose the 3 inch size so it matches the Disney button size perfectly. It only takes a few seconds to make each one, which made the whole process really easy and enjoyable. Everything came with no missing parts, which I really appreciated. Such a great way to add a personal touch to a special event!

I’ve seen a lot of reviews on this product that says it’s very bad and that it doesn’t make nice folds, but that’s just simply not true. If you’re thinking about wanting to open a small business making pins or just want a pin maker, you should definitely buy this. This machine is very nice. I’ve had it for maybe a little bit over a month now and it works perfectly fine. I was going to make a review video and I made one, but I must just have bad Internet connection or something because it wouldn’t let me put it on there so I just took some photos. I give this machine a 10 out of 10. It’s a very nice machine. I use it almost every day and it comes with all of the things that you need for it.👏👍✨💩

It started off really great, but the quality declined quick. It's not durable. I've only been using it a month and it's become more flimsy and has started to scrape against itself and drop green powder. Edited to add: The company saw the review and reached out to make it right. I felt the customer service deserved another star. I appreciate them looking to fix it as I was just going to let it be and not contact them.

Very user friendly and makes great buttons! My daughter is 10 and makes them with her friends easily. Comes with so many supplies to make a ton of buttons. Very happy with our purchase!
