Will this work with a dd3 delay pedal?

I use it with a DD7 and it works perfectly. I would imagine it would be the same for a DD3. It also has a polarity switch on it so if it doesn't seem to work in the initial switch position, changing the switch to the opposite polarity may fix it. Good luck!

I just purchased a boss rc-3 loop station. why would i connect two fs-5u external footswitches?

I have the same combination with just one FS-5U and use it as a stop/clear switch , 1 press to stop , 1 press and hold to clear

I have a Boss DD-7. So this pedal is useful just for tap tempo (which I can do with the unit itself)?

Hi Javier. I also have a Boss DD-7. The FS-5U is use full. You just have to plug it in and you're ready. If u use de pedal itself, u have to hold it in first prior to use the tap tempo, bit with the FS-5U.. U don't have to. It's good for dotted 8 notes. I'm enjoying mine

Can this be used with the Boss RC-3 Loop Pedal? A footswitch like this makes it much easier to accurately time the end of the loop...?

Yes it can be used with the RC-3....I also bought a second pedal FS-5U to increase/decrease the saved loops. Works like a charm... YouTube the RC-3 and you will find these being used and how to use with the RC-3. You will also have to purchase an additional 2 XLR to 1 cord in conjunction to having 2 foot pedals.
