Great service and great concentration at a good price..
My package arrived on time and was exactly as described. Also As far as I can see this is the highest concentration of Methyl Folate (5000 mcgs) available online. Thanks very much.

Delayed release effect compared to a quicker releasing 'capsule' form.
I have done a couple other reviews on l-methyl folate supplements, and I can't really repeat everything I've said, but perhaps you could look them up under my reviewer name, I'm not sure. I'll just give you the main points I made in the other reviews: And this is just my layman's advice, from the limited experience I have with the supplement and the knowledge I've gained reading about it online and from my sister, who has been taking it for over a year now. First of all, you should probably get the genetic testing done to see if you have the MTHFR mutation in the first place. That is where my sister started, and because of the results, her naturopath suggested she started taking this stuff. If you do start taking it, START WITH A LOW DOSE, and work your way up. I assumed I had the mutation, because of my sister's genetic test results she was told that both of her parents must have the mutation, and therefore all of her siblings will have it too. I decided on my own to just start with a high dose of 15mg, and I didn't have good results. It made me feel more anxious, irritated, and antsy. I dropped down to this lower dose, and still didn't feel 'right' after taking it. I then tried half, so about 4mg, and at that point I might have felt something, but for the most part I didn't feel that it really changed my life in a noticeable way, so now I don't take it at all. Either way, I recommend, and all the info I found online says the same thing, to start with a low dose, like 1mg, and then over weeks and months, and with the support of a healthcare professional of some sort, work your way up slowly until you find the right dose for you. With all that said, I can also tell you that one of my other siblings, who has had some pretty extreme mental health issues to say the least, has started taking these supplements, along with eating fish a few times a week (before they had been a vegetarian for like 20 years...), and the combination of the two things seems to REALLY effect their mental state. I can literally tell when they have run out of the supplements, their mood and attitude is so different. (I'm using they/their to try to keep it more private, as I have multiple siblings...) Good luck, I know that one day the whole 'medical field' will catch up with all this mental health and genetic testing stuff but until then we just have to try to figure out what works best for us. And the other thing I pointed out in my other reviews is that besides any supplements you might take, I think that developing consistent and healthy habits is the best thing we can do to foster a stable mental state-The basic stuff like sleep, diet, exercise, stress management, and our alcohol/drug use.

The only vitamins ANYONE should take!
This vitamin is the only vitamin anyone should take daily. As it is in its most natural forms which allows the body to fully absorb it all! It's small and easy to swallow and to say I can see a difference would be an understatement! the energy levels I have are out the roof! The pull is little so it’s easy to swallow and only has a taste if you let it dissolve in your mouth. The price is average but worth it due to how well they work!

Please read before you start this...
I gave this 5 stars because it’s a great product and the potency is very real. The only issue is it was way too much. I have the worst type of the MTHFR, the C677T with two copies. A Dr had told me to take 15mg. I only got to 10mg and thank goodness I realized and stopped taking them. It was way too much and my Folate levels shot yo to over double what they should be. I started having awful headaches and neck pain that would creep up into my head which is a side effect of too much folate. I went through it for months before blood work was done and I did a bit of researching on my own and realized. It was very scary. The high level of folate and me being on two meds for depression caused me to get seratonin syndrome which was even scarier. I had to stop everything and I’m finally back to normal after about a month. I’m only adding all of this to let people who are looking to take this know to please do your due diligence researching and be careful of how much you take. Dr’s are all only human and I’ve found out that most don’t even know much, if anything, about the MTHFR mutations. Please just be careful....
