Worth the price and really works.
comes well packaged, works as advertised. I bought it for a amateur radio go-box to hook up a solar panel to charge my battery. it works great and the installation was a breeze. Definitely worth the price.

Junk
Screen was broken and couldn't get it to work in 12v mode, kept over charging my single deep cycle battery so I put it in my junk drawer. Won't be buying cheap junk again.

This is a cheap fire hazard an will melt/engulf in flames
Melted twice from internal shorting/crossing First one was between the P/V side Second one I bought was on the battery inputs Thought I could save some cash but I was wrong Incredible fire hazard and a threat to the wellbeing of my house and family Don’t buy ever under any circumstances Cheap poorly made fire starting plastic Buy victron connect instead and you will not be disappointed

I got the 40amp controller for my lifepo4 24v battery bank. I have 40 amp input at 28V going to this mppt. For the first few minutes it was indeed outputting 40 amps, but as it heated up it settled around 30 amps or 800 watts output. This thing heats up insanely hot. I can not pick it up, it is a fire hazard. Also the display of amps being output is a lie, it says 40 amps even though my victron shunt is clearly showing only 30 amps! Right now after about 20 minutes of use it has risen to 70 celcius, that is according to its own internal temperature sensor display. definitely will start to melt and start a fire. Maybe if they built in a fan inside it would help.

The terminal commectors are small and ineffective. Never got the unit to work.

Ad lied, its Not mppt, its pwm
Its actually a pwm. Ad lied. It cuts voltage and dissipates them and does not convert them to amps. Aweful

Installed and can not get into it the menu after holding the button for 3 seconds.the customer service they did a refund after contacting them.
