Best tablet stand! Long as the base is firmly in place, and get use of adjusting the foldable arm grips my Galaxy A11 Tab with ease. Strong to hold the weight and value for money. It protects my tablet from falling. Its been on stand for weeks and Tablet did not slip. I highly recommend it to all.

I purchased this adjustable tablet mount specifically for having a 12.9" tablet running a music composition app handy immediately after waking from dreams which include vivid musical elements I want to put to use in original compositions. With the tablet within easy reach on this stand attached to the headboard of the bed in the studio I'm able to pull it in front of me, have it face-id unlock and begin composing music even while I'm still too groggy to handle the tablet without running the risk of dropping it (or having to deal with the frustration of trying to balance the large tablet on my chest or knees) while attempting to get the musical ideas laid down on tracks before the aura of the dream fades. The stand does wobble and requires steading if I get to jabbing at the app's touch interface too vigorously, but using an Apple Pencil to do the composition work reduces this problem a lot when I feel like grabbing it first. Either way, the stand significantly cuts span of time from waking to composing and I'm now quickly capturing more dreamed musical notions laid down as tracks than ever before without all the stress and strain of handling the tablet in bed otherwise. I imagine I'll eventually invest in a sturdier model which won't wobble at all (currently costing upwards of $350). Until then, this one works fine for my need, and I've purchased two more for my elderly parents to use for bedtime e-book reading and movie viewing on their own tablets. An excellent product for the price.

I have gone thru 4 previous "gooseneck" tablet holders for my bedside tablets prior to this purchase. I had previously chose these following a number of back to back surgeries, including an intensive neck surgery *which spawned the first purchase. I liked these for the strength and ability to form to any position BUT!!! Their multiple plastic parts, especially the connection clamps to your table/bed/nightstand/etc. would just snap afyer about 4 months of use. I threw money away over & over. I was finally happy to find one with primarily all metal parts, especially the specific parts that broke over & over. While this design of folding sections isn't as flexible, they way I use it now no longer requires it to be so precise. I look forward to not throwing money away on trashy plastic when I have finally found a quality metal option. If only the piece that holds the tablet was metal too, this would be a dream.

I own many similar extension arms, and this is the worst I've seen. The clamping mechanism is better than most because it's all metal, but the hole to attach the arm in wasn't big enough and had to be manually stretched. I fear it will stretch further and ultimately fail. the arms didn't line up straight and also had to be gently bent into alignment. My biggest complaint is the phone/tablet holder's "fingers" aren't big enough, so the phone slips out extremely easily, with almost no pressure. It's dangerous to use without modifying it. If you're using a phone with no case, and don't care about it not being perfect and likely to break fairly soon, it might work for you.

I use it on my loft bed. I use it in bed to watch shows or when I’m working at my desk, and it holds my device at just the right height and angle. It folds down easily too, making it super portable. Great value and very well-designed. Definitely recommend it!

I used to have a gooseneck holder for when I read in bed, but after 2yrs it got worn out and wouldn't stay up anymore. So when I went searching for a new adjustable holder, I was excited for this one since it's all metal with springs. The main clamp fit over my thick headboard and I was able to screw it on tightly. The arms also have knobs that can be tightened to better secure the angle you'd like, which I appreciated. My iPad fits snuggly into the end clamp - I used to have the gooseneck holder clamp onto the sides of my iPad, but this one is too large for that so it clamps onto the top and bottom of my iPad. There are holes on the clamps that allow me to still charge my iPad even while it's behind held. I haven't tried it with my iPad case on, but that might work if you don't like to constantly switch between having a case on and not. Besides the part that clamps onto my headboard and the part that holds my iPad, everything else was assembled when it arrived in the box (thank the gods), so I didn't struggle with any screws or whatnot. I would say this would be a great holder to take on trips if you want it, since it can be folded down to it's original shape and taken apart very easily to store in a bag. Keep in mind that once you tighten the bolts, there is no give, so if you need to adjust it and/or move it when you're done, you'll need to loosen the bolts to do so, otherwise you might wear out the sturdiness of it by using brute force. Overall, I'm thankful I found this product and am excited to read in bed comfortably again. I got this through Prime overnight, so I did not have to wait long at all. Disclaimer: sorry if I misuse the words clamps or bolts, I don't know the technical terms for the pieces I am adjusting to place the product how I want it.

So I have this similar arm that bolts on the side of my bed to hold my phone for viewing car repair YouTube videos all night. But it's a pain because it sits right where you need to be to swing out of bed when the alarm goes off. Wait a minute - I just bought a table to hold my computer over my Lazy Boy and that would be PERFECT to hold my phone over there. What to do... I know - buy this thing! Bolts to the HEAD of the bed so it'd rarely get in my way when getting up! PLUS I can hang my headphones and my CPAP mask off it! This rules! Why the four stars? Well it turns out that the clamp is designed to fit from zero to many inch thick headboards. Whitch means the screw needs to travel quite a ways to accommodate all those thicknesses. My headboard is many inches thick (thanks Ikea). Which means the screw doesn't have to travel very far. Which means it sticks out like 3" from the headboard. See where that person has theirs clamped? Now imagine if that screw was sticking out 3" and they rolled over. Yeah, you got the picture. So it has to be bolted FAR away from the pillows. Unfortunately the end that holds the phone/tablet isn't designed to bend more than about 80 degrees or so so it doesn't like up square. If Malm only had a taller headboard... But I still like it a lot more than the old one (which works really well on the table). And it's open frame so you can actually route the charging cable through it for neatness.

This is a right yoke. I was sick in bed and was able to watch a film on Prime on the iPad.

suits my needs, keep in mind the mount cannot defy physics. keep your device close to the base of support for stability and safety. Dislike: Mind you don’t jam your fingers when adjusting the arm levers! looks possible and would be painful Used for: iPad Pro 2
