Sugru by tesa - Mouldable Multi-Purpose Glue for Creative Fixing and Making, Black, White, Red, Yellow & Blue, 8-Pack

I’ve been using Sugru for years and always have some around for miscellaneous jobs. Whether it’s filling holes (possibly much better than silicone) or making repairs to things or even using it as a kind of mouldable gasket, Sugru is excellent stuff. I can’t remember all the things I’ve used it for, but I recommended it to a friend and he used it to repair the exhaust on his Mini! Because it’s resistant to high temperatures it worked brilliantly. My wife used it to fix a contact sensor on the door of her Nissan Qashqai that is normally a couple of hundred pounds, but was a cheap permanent fix with Sugru.

I’ve been using Sugru for years e.g. dishwasher basket, shoe repairs, cracked pottery etc. So many uses - the black one even filled a small hole in my tarmac driveway. Very pleased with the results and long lasting.

I was a bit worried that, like others recently, mine would arrive already past its "use by date". Received 8 today, 19/11/2025, 4 black & 4 white, and they are ALL good till June 2026. Just FYI in case anyone else is worried. Put em all straight in the fridge after checking, which the enclosed leaflet says triples the remaining number of months.

Great moulding patches to fix or secure those tricky things that need strengthen. Definitely keep a packet in your home fridge for those days.

Pretty cool stuff, I was able to glue my headset hindge together. Sony PS5 Pulse Elite headset broke at the only point it could bend so I used this and super glue before to put it together. It is not looking good but works perfectly. Fortunately no cable broke inside. It came with the same expiry date as the delivery date but with putting them into the fridge (the small bags) it will triple lifetime of these glues. Easy to form what you need, it does need 12-24 hours to solidify but it will be still kinda gummy (not sticky) which is the perfect for anything that should bend.

CHECK THE USE BY DATE! I ordered an 8 pack, and they'd all passed their 'use by' dates 6 months ago. The outer packaging doesn't even have any dates on them so they don't know how old the products are that they're selling you! IF IT'S IN DATE - Great product. I have used it to make a foot on the dish drainer taller, so it doesn't wobble, and to create a ring stuck to my dashboard to hold my sunnies - which is really effective (when it got knocked off a few years later it was quite an inconvenience!). Oh, and also to put feet on the back of a soap dish so that the water drains out of it better, and we're not left with wet soggy soap. Does the job well, but at the best of times it's shelf life isn't great, and it's expensive. A brilliant addition to the 'what if' bag in the car, or the kitchen drawer, but leave it a few years, and it unusable. Apparently you can extend the 'use by' dates by sticking them in the fridge. Get's cheaper the bigger the pack you buy, but it might not be usable by the time you need to use it, so it's a gamble. Would give it more stars if Amazon didn't sell me expired products - and if Sugru put expiry dates on the outer packaging so that Amazon could see if it's expired before selling it to me!! UPDATE: the manufacturer said they had no stock so to return via Amazon. Amazon’s replacement Sugru was ALSO out of date by 6 months, so now I have two orders of it to send back. Again, with no dates on the outside packaging it’s a crapshoot! Disappointing. Reducing star rating from 2 stars to 1 star. A pity, as the product is capable of many things.

Good product when fresh, but check the expiry date immediately Sugru is a useful product when it is fresh, but buyers need to check the expiry/use-by date as soon as it arrives. I ordered this from Amazon as the seller, expecting reliable stock, but the pack I received (25 May) had an expiry date of August 2026, leaving only a very short remaining shelf life for an 8-pack product. I requested a replacement, but the replacement arrived with the same August 2026 expiry date. After reading other reviews, it seems I am not the only customer who has had this issue. For a mouldable glue product that cures over time, short-dated stock is a real problem, especially in a multipack where you may not use all sachets immediately. The product itself is good when fresh, but the remaining shelf life should be much clearer. Sugru should print the expiry date clearly on the outside of the box/packaging so buyers can check it before opening.

This stuff is fantastic and has fixed many broken items. Used three days ago to fix a kitchen cupboard door hinge that had become loose in its chipboard - worked brilliant on another door fixed six months ago and is holding this well too. An extremely versatile strong mouldable product which I have also used in the past to help a quadriplegic friend more easily use remotes, appliances and utensils. Comes in small packets and once opened needs to be used straight away as goes off quickly. Having said that, leave to harden for 24 hours once used for best results

Siempre tengo algún sobre de sugru en la nevera para que se conserve mejor. He reparado muchas cosas como cables, diademas de auriculares, etc. Y si lo moldeas bien queda con buena resistencia.

Bien mais cher quand même. Je n'arrive pas à faire des gainages de câble aussi beaux que la pub. Pourtant je suis adroit. IA ?

Easy to use, no mess, any number of applications. Sets hard and secure, but remains flexible. Great product.
