Is there anything like this that - where the gel is physically felt - and reusable? These are too expensive to buy for daily use.

No there isn't. I buy these, WellPatch Cooling Headache Pads, Migraine 4 Pads in a Pack. (Pack of 6)= 24pads, because these because they're actually cheaper & you get more. To me because I've used both brands I think WellPatches works better & last longer too. These are my preferred brand of Buy and I've been buying them for several years.

Can you cut these and put them on your jaws?

You can’t cut them. The gel inside would spew out, it’s a self contained packet. The patch will stick to a jaw as long as the individual has a smooth surface free from stubble.

What kind of cooking effect does it have? Like icy/hot or like an actual ice pack??

Probably more similar to icy hot than an ice pack.

Does storing them in the fridge make them more effective, & make them last longer when you apply them? Could this affect the shelf life?

That’s a great idea! I’m going to try that also. They are packed individually so I think they will be fine. My daughter swears by these, she has had migraines since infancy.
