Does this work well for oily to dry skin?

I have combo skin and this product did not work for me. Smells good though. However, MAC's version of this works wonders!

How do you apply this for maximum results?

Apply to clean, dry skin. Concentrate on your T-zone. I use my fingertips. It works the best for me. Then apply foundation or powder.

Would I use this with Pore Filler as well?
