Hi! For male chest and stomach waxing, would the 1oz portion provide adequate coverage? Thanks!

That's hard to say without knowing the size of your chest and stomach. I've used it twice for Brazilian area laser hair removal and I still have half the container left but I am a smaller female. A shot glass is 1 1/2 oz so you can fill a shot glass almost full with lotion and see if thats enough to cover a thick layer on the area you are getting waxed. Unless you're a petite man, I would say buy 2 just to be safe. Also, don't expect it to take all of the pain away, since waxing is not just skin deep, but you are actually ripping the hair out from under the skin. It should help a good bit though, just make sure to leave it on for at least 45 minutes under some plastic wrap.

I thought 5% lidocaine was by Rx only? has the FDA changed its recommendation for 2015-2016? my doctor believes over 4% is by only prescription?

I don't believe many of these are 5%. I had 2% kill more pain than 5%. I suspect that many of these products have 10 drops of 5% lidocaine mixed with a whole tube of plain ole cream. So the end result is cream with massively diluted 5% lidocaine. Technically 5% lidocaine in the tube, but too diluted to be very effective. So I still looking for 5% lidocaine that works better than the 2% perscription that I used up. Doc won't prescribe any more because of oversight issues unless I have a surgical procedure. I think Lidocaine is now a racket to sell worthless cream.

Would this work for getting stitches? (In an emergency situation with no doctor) What about piercings?

I would recommend 20% mixture. Making your own from Reagents licaine powder would be recommended but good luck finding it on Amazon unless of course you're a business or a researcher. Like every company out there they got scared by all the opioid bull s@#$ and have all the jerked it off the market. I would go no higher than 20% and I would suggest that you get with a doctor's recommendation first if you have heart problems. High doses of lidocaine can cause arrhythmias.

What are the directions for use on the face for micro needling? I saw one review that said you have to wrap with plastic?

Yes, the plastic wrap does 2 things: It keeps the cream from drying out and it uses your body heat to activate the numbing effect much more quickly. I usually cut small pieces of plastic wrap to fit each area of my face and wrap a longer piece around my neck. The pieces will stick to the cream. It's not necessary to wrap it tightly, just as long as the areas are covered to prevent it from drying out. Be sure to wash or rinse off the cream before starting the needling.
